Taste from a 750ml bottle. Hazy golden orange color. Good thin white head. Decent splotches of lace. Was skeptical at first as to how this would hold up, being a "2013 reserve" IPA... But the first sniff is reassuring. Tons of good Nelson Sauvin aromas in the nose. Tons of good floral, tropical fruit, citrus aromas. Light spicy hop. Fantastic, complex hop aroma to this. Light caramel malt. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter, kind of creamy carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Great single hop IPA! Not as assertive and bitter as a lot of American IPAs, very different... But has an awesome, complex aroma to it and a very nice long finish. I bet this stuff is ridiculously good on tap fresh at the source... As I continue with it, though, the sweetness a bit more prominent. Still love that big aroma, though. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - DEC 25, 2013

Pours a rather hazy, light gold, with big, foamy head. Citrus aroma. Flavor has a strong citrusy note (very grapefruitlike), with lots of pine-hop bitterness to boot. Very resiny and bitter finish (almost too bitter for my tastes). Not a bad IPA. DocLock (11049) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Draft at Capone’s. Pours turbid dull gold with white head. Nose is piney hops,, big ruby red grapefruit. Tastes somewhat dry, with a big grapefruit and black pepper flavor, and some finishing resiny and floral notes. This one is rock solid.
