750mlish bottle: Pours a dark brown/black with thin tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, plum/prune and roasted coffee beans. Mouthfeel is thin but flavors are big. Slight cherry notes. oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 13, 2016
Pours a nice black. Coffee/chocolate and little tobacco aroma. Flavor is awesome, rich and smooth, like roasted espresso loaded with dark bitter chocolate and kinda sweet. The alcohol is well hidden among the massive flavors. katrinaez (2021) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Lots of flavor. Raisin and some oak scent. No carbonation. Deep brown/black. Milky and strong but a little oaky and some tobacco taste. Bottle DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2015
750 cc from PUBR. Thick black pour, no head. Nose is plum, fig, perfumy hops, dark malt. Tastes of charred molasses, fig, plum, black gumdrop, walnut. Intense roasty ad charred flavor as it warms, more molasses, black licorice. OK, not great. Many flaws in this. Still, tons better than the best Budweiser. This poured a darkness brown with a small beige head. Aroma was of ashy malt, dark chocolate and some earthy Hood. Flavor was lightly bitter, dark.chocolate dry, and lightly ashy.

Black pour with an espresso head. Aroma is sweet. Sugar, nuts & caramel. Full mouth. Taste is bitter at first, but turns to fudge. Long dark chocolate finish. boxofrane (2553) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 9, 2015
Bottle at craft ale house. Pours pitch black with minimal head. The aroma has huge chocolate, dark fruit, cocoa. The taste is big chocolate, medium roast but balanced by a nice sweetness. CardsFan25 (95) - - MAR 6, 2015
Bomber bottle. Dark black pour with little to no head. Alcohol with hint of vanilla on the nose. Dark fruit, milk chocolate, and booze on the tongue. reberiii (498) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2015
One of the best smelling stouts I?ve ever come across. Boozy nose with a tad of licorice and chocolate, but hard to describe. It?s almost completely flat, the flavor is of roast fruitish sweetness, chocolate, touch of coffee, and finishes malty sweet. Ron (3962) - Rochester, New York, USA - NOV 21, 2014
Bottle. Pours a deep black with a dense tan head that stays. Big heavy roast and alcohol on the nose with cocoa and dark malt. Medium to thick bodied. Lots of roast, warming alcohol with a long roast and a ton of chocolate. Dusty cocoa into the finish, chocolate, long and warm on the finish. Thanks for sharing JB.
