Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Cloudy gold with a tall, fluffy white head. Aroma is sour fruit, funky yeast, lemon juice, earthy notes and wet wood. Taste is sour fruit, wet wood, funky yeast, wine notes, tart berries, lemon, salt, earthy notes and leather. Body is light-medium with a strong bubbly carbonation and dry finish. Lingering acidic notes as well. Ends with more sour fruit, lemon juice, oak, earthy notes and leather. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 12, 2014
750ml bottle, shared. Clear golden color. Thin off-white head, kind of bubbly, fades to minimal. Kind of a stronger, softer carbonation than I expect from a gueuze, fades to a level I like after a bit, though. Medium plus body, kind of slick. Sastisfying bigger sour taste, tang, moderate sweet taste. Oak, big lemon citrus, mild funkiness. Up front there was a lot of green apple, but that becomes less noticeable as it opens and warms up. Solid sour ale, was hoping for more from this though... Seems to be lacking something for me. Little too tangy maybe. Not quite refreshing like I kinda expected. djd07 (16317) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 15, 2014
Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a clear orange with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, grape, and acidic. Thin mouth with nice sourness, oak, tart grape, very nice. 50belair (3701) - Florida, USA - NOV 15, 2014
Clear light yellow pour with a white head. Smells like cat piss. Mild sourness. Not really sure what I’m tasting. Kinda wacky. Average body and mouthfeel. fonefan (52426) - VestJylland, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2014

Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, tropical fruit, grape, wood, baking yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart fruit, grape, dry, citrus - lemon, funky, tropical fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
750 mL purchased at Whole Foods P Street in DC. 95% clear golden pour, bubbly off-white head that dissipates very quickly. Nose and flavor are lovely, with good notes of white grapefruit rind, lemon flesh, nice vibrant hints of peach and mango, intriguing fruity booze hints of Cointreau and even a touch of Grand Marnier. Definitely some good tannic and wooden funk, though balanced by just a touch of American style acidity that definitely differentiates this from a Belgian sour. Despite that, it’s beautifully restrained in that area, contributing to a quenching and balanced tartness that doesn’t come across as overbearing whatsoever. Low to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Really extraordinary well done again from a brewery that makes hilariously delicious sours considering how pedestrian their regular lineup is. Delicious stuff. weihenweizen (4217) - Charleston, West Virginia, USA - OCT 9, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2014 Refrigerated 75-cl 2014 brown bottle corked and capped poured into a tulip. Slightly hazy light orange with big fluffy white head. Aroma is tart, medium body, well carbonated, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is tart, oak, and some white wine. Pretty good, but hoped for a little more. b3shine (9281) - Indiana, USA - SEP 12, 2014
750. Bottle to tulip (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a very slightly hazy orange with fluffy eggshell head. Smells good too; brett, tropical fruit, oak, and light chardonnay and funk. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly tart and fairly dry mouthfeel. Some peach. Good stuff. vtafro (7451) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - SEP 3, 2014
Bottle. Yellow pour with white head. Nice tart fruit and sour aromas. Best sour flavor from Cisco I’ve had. Fruit beers aren’t as solid. kayres (888) - , Georgia, USA - AUG 30, 2014
