COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two year old Nantucket Flemish-style red aged on whole sour cherries for 10 months. This is similar to sipping the idea of what a "cherry" is... UNREAL.

Pours a dark purple-red, nearly black from a bottle. Big sour cherry aroma, vinegary right off the bat. Even the oak comes out in the nose. Very tart cherry juice flavor, somewhat reminiscent of a wine vinegar. Feel like the tartness could be dialed down just a bit. Pretty good beer.

Note: 7/10

Bottle (750 ml) shared at tasting. Hazy pinkish-red with a small white head leaving little to no lacing. Flavors of cherries cough syrup (dominant), oak, a bit of brown sugar and mild spiciness. Taste is quite acidic but the oak helps to balance it a bit. No sweetness here despite the cough syrup flavor. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Dry and oaky, Puckering. Unbalanced like many american sours with an intense acidic bite when there’s a bit of age on the bottle (like for this one) but I liked the flavor profile.

Pours a cloudy brown with no head and no lacing. Nose is of cherries and vinegar. Taste is quite acidic and loaded with more juicy black cherries and vinegar. A bit harsh, really, highly puckering. Body is light to medium and carbonation moderate. Tiresome.

Bouteille 750ml, bottle share.
