Cloudy light ochre colour. Aromas of sweet oatmeal, sour fruit and yeasty notes. Flavours of sweet fruit, and sweet and sour candy.

Poured from a 2015 corked bottle Lightly carbonated, hazy copper appearance, refreshingly tart, brett and peaches mix for a summer night

Bottle pours out a hazy gold topped with a sand head. Nose is big peach notes some barrel the vanilla from the barrel reminds me of peach and cream but this has some tartness aswell. Taste is more of the creamy peach sour tart notes a nice one.

2015 bottle (new labels, not like the label pictured here) drunk 10/23/15 and on Cask at NERAX, Summer 2013.
Still haven’t got around to entering my ratings from NERAX 2.5 years ago...sigh. So it’s good that I finally had this one (bottle at Deep Ellum, $17, bottle at liquor store down the street, $25. Makes you wonder....). Light haziness to the blonde liquid, leaving the sediment in the bottle. Big white head but it collapses pretty quickly to a covering, though is retained well there.
Loved in on cask, loved it in the bottle. Very juicy, peachy nose is nonetheless well-fermented/macerated and the peach combines well with the yeast/bacteria acids which are in turned laced with a light honey-vanilla character. Some floral notes, very low on the wood and mostly just a bright fruited sour that leans a lot more to the fruited American weisse end of the spectrum than the heavily barreled, intensely sour wild ale end. No alcohol, no flaws.
In the mouth it’s tightly carbonated, juicy, acidic but yet balanced with maltiness. Peach flavor is authentic, nicely integrated and oak barrel character shows restraint of tannin and even a touch of wine-like character (this is not wine barrel aged, to my knowledge, to clarify). Love the alcohol here and indeed the resulting high drinkability. Sure, it’ dosent have the most profound of complexities, nor are you going to confuse this for Fou Foune, but I think people are unfairly expecting a lot more out of this. A simple peach golden ale aged in oak, left at low gravity to be both bright, refreshing and drinkable. Love it.

Bottle thanks to Jason (I think?) for sharing. Aromas are peaches, yogurt, and oak. Tastes slightly funky which is nice here. Lots of peach yogurt, some lemon, strong oak. Mild sourness. Really good but I wish it was just a little more sour.

Bottle. Hazy dandelion gold with a fuzzy off-white head. Aroma has prominent peach followed by sharp vanilla and oak, lemon and soft wheaty funk. Big peach flavor, very much like biting into the fruit with sweet juice and a little peach-skin bitterness. Acidity is very mild, as is the funk. Watery medium-light body; mild CO2. Good peach flavor but lacking in the acidity and complexity of other Cisco sours.

Bottle split at Bruces pad - for the last time, big thanks to LKS, 27/03/15. Hazed orange golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is lemon rind, tarte apricot, buttery notes - but not in a bad way, pissy tones. Taste comprises light funk, atraw, apricot yoghurt, citric zest, peach, tangerine, tarte fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a funky soured fruit wash. Decent approachable sour.

Swan Song at Bruce’s. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Little sherbet precedes peach and lemon. Light floralness. Mild tangy sourness. Light crisp finish. Nicely joined up. Fresh and clean.

The_Osprey (9159) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 28, 2015
Bottle share, thanks to Leighton! Cloudy yellow, hazy, small ring of white head. Aroma is tart lemon, piney, straw. Body is medium to light, foamy, low carbonation. Taste is dental rinse, cranberry juice, lemony, straw, touch of chlorine. Decent.

Scopey (15747) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 27, 2015
Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a small white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, lactic, apricot yoghurt, light spice and cheesecake. The taste is crisp, lactic, tart, peach, nectarine, juicy, light acidity, lemon sherbet and spoiled yogurt with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth, tart and juicy.
