COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Summer of Love was fun they say, but now we’re living in the SUMMER OF LAGER! "Lager" means "to wait a wicked long time until it’s ready." We brewed it in the fall, aged it all winter, then sampled it in the spring. Then again, and again, until finally we decided to share. Hope you like it.

12oz can, from Dutch’s. Pours with a bigger white head, audibly fizzing down to a thin half-finger rocky amount that retains, and leaves decent lace. Orange golden color, clear. Smooth, kind of soft, effervescent carbonation. More dry finish. Medium body, full feel. Bready, some lemon, pepperiness. Mildly roughness to it. Moderate-plus bitter taste, very light sweet. Dry. Solid, bright. Bitter, citrusy. Pretty sharp and assertive, but I enjoyed it.

12oz bottle from Ed5388, thanks Chucky. Poured a clear deep rusty gold with a smaller tight foamy brighter white head. Aroma is sort of meh, some odd dough, plasticy, grapes, eraser shavings. Flavor is better but sort of boring, dry grains, green grape skins, wheat chaff. Body is medium with a dry harsh finish for some reason and rather strong carbonation.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a wonderful hazy gold with a decent head and really nice lacing. Aromas of citrus and bread. Sweet taste throughout with a pretty dry finish; medium body with a lingering, light bitterness. Quite refreshing overall. Acquire.

Clear gold with a white foamy head, a shade darker than I would have expected from a pilsner. Aroma grainy, herbal, with a bit of a veggie note. Taste grainy and light, hints of biscuit, touch of buttery feeling. Nicely drinkable.

ganache (5909) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 19, 2014
Can. Nose pils malt, lightly sweet with lemony, sunny citrus and grassy hops with a touch of sugar - very inviting. Pours transparent yellow with avg carb and a large rocky white head. Watery light body is sweet with very low bitterness (drier and bitterer in the finish), lemony citrus extremely juicy throughout, touch of bread by the end. Has a very little bit of maltiness for balance, everything’s fresh and clean. Soft, delicate, enormously attractive.

12 ounce can. Bright honey gold color. Big rocky white head. Grassy cereal malt nose with hints of lemon citrus hops. Flavor is dry and crisp with more grassy hops and bready malt. Tart lemon peel notes in mid taste. Some cardboard funkiness in finish.

Drank it straight out if the can. Light and very approachable. Tasted good after mowing the lawn, that’s for sure.
