Cisk was launched in Malta in 1928. It is a golden-coloured lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character. Its rich hop aroma and pleasant bitterness, combined with a mild astringency, make it an outstanding thirst-quencher. Its alcohol content is 4.2%.

Cisk Lager was awarded top prize in the International Lager Category at the 1995 Australian Beer Awards and was presented with the Pfizer Food Science Trophy for the lager obtaining the highest number of votes in the same competition. 10.5°

0.5 l can from Malta. Pale golden color with no head. Light bodied lager with soft carbonation. Nothing extraordinary.

Nurmis (810) - Oulu, FINLAND - JAN 15, 2016
330ml can. Pours with small white head, light yellow colour. Light malty and herbal hoppy aroma. Light sweetness, light bitterness. Average general bulk lager, not bad for its kind in any sense.

Can at SlackerMads Tasting. Clear yellow - white head. Hay. Light sweetness. Light bitterness. Cardboard notes. Not award winning.

SlackerMads (3523) - DENMARK - DEC 12, 2015
Can thanks to pentaz. Clear yellow with a medium sized diminishing white head. Nose has hay, grain, dry flowers. Not that much. Flavour has the same things. Medium body, soft carbonation, mild sweet with matching bitterness. Feels surprisingly soft with good bitternes.

Can standard lager light golden and tastes of corn and pale malts some sweetness . It warmed up a bit so I may have tasted too much of it not unpleasant

Malta tick via Jeremy... Thanks. Pale clear golden, no head. Sticky corn syrup, no real aroma. Bland.

Wygląd: Słomkowa barwa, słaba piana która szybko opada. Zapach: delikatny chmiel i mokry karton. Smak: Tak samo jak zapach. Ogólnie: Nic ciekawego, gorsze niż nasze koncerniaki. Piwo jedynie do zabicia pragnienia.

DrNosha (2719) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - OCT 15, 2015
0,25l Flasche. Goldgelbe Farbe, kaum Schaum. Typischer Lagerduft- und Geschmack. Ok, aber nichts Besonderes.

LazyPyro (1600) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2015
28cl bottle on holiday in Malta. Clear golden colour with a medium sized frothy white head. Pleasant taste. (Old rating, 14th August 2007)

ippopotamo36 (2542) - Rome, ITALY - SEP 28, 2015
At the multi-national tasting held in Rome-Italy on 29/08/2015 (Jow, Mortlach, ippopotamo36 and Marco). Bottle courtesy of Sylvan, thank you! Pours a yellow clear color, small white foam short lasting. Nose: a mild straw feel, sweet notes of sugar, a bit flat. Mouth: hay, veggies, flat. Boring but good for the country tick.
