Cisk was launched in Malta in 1928. It is a golden-coloured lager with a distinctive and well-balanced character. Its rich hop aroma and pleasant bitterness, combined with a mild astringency, make it an outstanding thirst-quencher. Its alcohol content is 4.2%.

Cisk Lager was awarded top prize in the International Lager Category at the 1995 Australian Beer Awards and was presented with the Pfizer Food Science Trophy for the lager obtaining the highest number of votes in the same competition. 10.5

Can thanks to Alaster. My first Malta tick. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is corn wheat grain and some grass. Taste is more of the corn and wet wheat.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2015 Bottle 25cl. @ bar in Valletta, Malta (26/8/15). Clear pale golden, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing; grainy nose, pale malt, paper; taste medium sweet and light bitter, bit watery; medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, slightly more bitter in the finish; nothing special.

You will drink this at least once if you go to Malta, and should prepare yourself for disappointing holiday beer. At no point could I face a second pint.

Bevuta a Malta, in lattina. Il colore chiaro. Il profumo non male. Il sapore metallico e vuoto, molto carbonata. Decisamente non molto buona.

Thanks to benny. Clear goldblond colored beer with medium white head and medium carbonation. Herby hopped aroma. Finish is sweet bit bitter. Nice pilsener. Easy to drink.

Finally a beer from Malta! Huge thanks Lidija for bringing it here! Shared with heavy. Poured a pale golden-yellow body with a medium sized white head - but with low retention. Malty nose, just slightly herbal. Relatively empty taste, with a herbal hoppy note, and a tiny touch of breatiness. Overcarbonated too. Not entirely bad, not that good. As expected.

Wygląd barwa słomkowa, klarowne, szczątkowa piana, Aromat slodowy, chmielowy Smak niska słodycz, niska lecz zaznaczona goryczka Odczucie wodniste, puste. Wysycenie wysokie, uczucie ściągania garbnikowego

romolime (184) - - JUN 6, 2015
Birra maltese di stile lager che a dir poco pessima, ha poco sapore, e quel che ha pure cattivo

jamaty (2118) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 4, 2015
Dorada muy clara, espuma blanca. Aroma cereal. Refrescante, citrica, amarga al final. Poco que aportar.
