Bottle at Costa Coffee at the airport. Pale, clear golden. Cereal, malt, bread and a bit of caramel. Slightly bitter grassy finish. Standard lager.

When chilled, it looses taste and can taste slightly sugary, exposing the caramel addiditve.

On tap and can in Bugibba. Clear yellow color, White head. Aroma is standard macro lager, some pleasing malts, vague herbal notes, some chemical fruity/peachy/citrus thing, light metallic. light body yet not excessively thin. Sort of tropical lager, not bad though.

On tap at Excelsior Hotel Valletta. Malta. Pours pale golden with small white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma slightly citrus with chemical-ester notes. Reasonable bitterness on the palate with some citrus hops. Quite a refreshing lager that should be tried maybe once when visiting Malta for the first time.

F: big, white, average retention. C: straw to pale gold, clear. A: malt, adjuncts, hint of grassy, floral, metallic, weak. T: malt but very very watery way, almost no bitterness, hint of cardboard, slightly better than tap water here, not enjoyed at all, 330ml can from Chain foodstore in the Point Shopping Mall in Sliema.

Bottle. Oh dear, like it’s my first contact with this jewel, but.. Ffs why? I may re-rate if I find draft?

Lore (2775) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 12, 2017
Pale yellow colour, moderate sized white head; aroma and taste of a cheap mass produced lager with some wet cardboard, metallic and sourish notes, as well as some artificial bitterness...pfff
