On tap at the First St. Alehouse. It pours a nice clear orange gold color with a tall white head. The aroma has lots of bright lemon water and some salt. The flavor has some florals, perfume, lavender soap and mild tart lemon and orange. Very light and perfumey in the mouth. Hints of some fusels. Lightly salty and tart in the finish. Decent.

Bottle shared at 4th of July BBQ (Lyons, IL). Pours a decent hazy golden yellow hue, a bit dulled and darker into the middle with lively spritzy carbonation, some whitish ring stick around is small but present. Aromas are lemony/lime hybrid, spritzy and alluring with some nice citric zest, touches of yogurt, straw and bready malts. Gentle funk and touches of oak work in as we settle down. Simple yet enjoyable, gentle cobwebs meet a touch of melon and gentle citrus sustain. Initial is lighter bodied, some lively carbonation with a touch of bitterness. Decent fruity elements show melon, citrus and decent lactic jabs of sourness. Yogurty, the sourness is more restrained here, a peppy carbonation seems to mask some of the elements here. Dry and fuzzy as we press on, some gentle oak and touchs of soft mellow funk, soft grains. While the beer lacks complexity or depth of flavors it’s certainly drinkable, enjoyable and a far better option than so many trainwreck American Wilds out there. Solid stuff, nothing offensive but nothing that makes it’s stand out either. phaleslu (10247) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 20, 2014
Bottle shared by tmoney99- thanks again, Tom! Pours a hazy pale gold color with a small white head. Aroma of straw, dough, lemon, and leaves. Flavor of lemon, apricot, sourdough, and cheesecloth. Light-bodied, with a bready, tart mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Decent sour blonde, but it didn’t pick up much of the wine barrel character at all, from what I could tell. Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow color with a frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium sour & sweet fruit flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. This beer met my expectations. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 16, 2014
500ml bottle, shared by tmoney99. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Thin white head. Some mostly loose ropes and dots of lace. Good lemon, citrus in the nose. White wine thing going on. Zesty, sweet taste, lightly tart. Great long oaky lemony citric aftertaste. Medium body. Lightly slick. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry in the finish. Smooth, tasty, refreshing sour blond. b3shine (8872) - Indiana, USA - JAN 15, 2014
500 ml bottle to snifter (shared by Tmoney99). Looks good for the style; a hazy blonde with white lacing. Smells tart and lightly doughy with mild white wine notes. Tastes like it smells, minus the wine. Average on the palate. Solid, but nothing special.
