Something a bit off about this one. Sure it is sweeter than the others but it’s also a bit artificial tasting. Maybe medicinal even. Not bad but just barely above average.

On tap @ Citizen Cider. Pale pink color with no foam. Don’t necessarily get blueberry, but there certainly is a fruity component to it. Some strawberry jam, white cherry, and sweet apple. Subtle grape juice, too. Mild tannins, butter, and fruit skins. Pretty mellow. Good body, unlike a lot of their ciders. It’s not bad.

Solid offering that is sure to please the mass cider drinkers. Pours a nice brose color minus the neckbeard, hill farmstead shirt and the cell phone with untapped as the homiepage. Anyhow nice balance of sweetness and tartness. Soft blueberry notes add nice complexity but nothing gets to funky or weird to scare away the woodchuck drinkers in the crowd. Solid offering.

Pinkish red. Good carbonation. Fades fast. Looks like a very faint blueberry color. Aroma is NAIL POISH and currants. Having a GF means rating beer is challenging sometimes. Very dry, juicy and an almost candy apple taste. Easily one of the least authentic ciders in the citizen lineup. - BTW, Have had this a few times and then realized I never rated it so grabbed a bottle at the local store on Friday and cracked it open. Pretty darn good.

Draught at the brewpub. Gentle notes of berries with a light dry cider base, almost feels like a sparkling rose wine. Light, dry and subtle, works for me.

(Rating #6531)

Draft at Citizen Cider, 7/5/15
Bright pink color with a thin ring of white head. Blueberry flavor isn’t overwhelming but it is pretty nice. One of the sweeter ones of the day. Finishes with a rather lively carbonation.

Wonderful rose color, smells of sweet dried blueberries, a little thin on the pallet for his sweet it is. The first sip is a bit sweet but I was doing a flight and it tasted better as I drank it.

12 oz. can gifted by Matt B. The color has a very light purple tint, in a clear bubbly liquid. The aroma is only apples. Where are the berries?

The flavor starts tart and ends sweet. Again, no blueberry notes at all. Light body and crisp like a cider should be. I was hoping for the blueberry, oh well.

Bottle. Pours peach. Nose and taste of blueberry, apple, white sugar and florals. Well carbed. Medium body.
