Courtesy of Vinny’s at the La Crosse airport. Clear straw color with a fizzy white head that disappears quickly. Nil lacing. Aroma of mild hops and wet paper bag. Light-bodied and crisp with a decent hoppy character, along with a hint of malt. The finish is bitter but not flavorful. All in all this is an average Lager. crossovert (14146) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 15, 2011
Extremely cheap, but yet it is somehow better than the standard highlifes and buds hopdog (13258) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 7, 2007
12oz bottle acquire as part of the Mystery Beer Swap v2 from DocLock (thanks!). Poured a lighter and see through straw color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grain, some straw/grass, and a touch of honey. Tastes of grain and lightly honey sweet. Thin and watery body. deyholla (12590) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 28, 2014
On tap at Bodega. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet corn and straw with a touch of bread backing. Flavor is similar with corn and straw with some sweet grains underlying. Slightly crisp. BVery (11461) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2011
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Tap at Bodega in La Crosse, WI. Not much going on with this beer - pale yellow pour with a small white head. Kind of a foul nose of stale grain. Very light palate. Taste is corn and grain - simple and boring.

Bottle from Pat’s. Medium gold pour with minimal, frothy white head. Aroma is pale grainy malt, some honey, hops, and fruit. Light to medium palate with more flavor breadth than many lagers, giving notes of initial pale grainy malt and honey, with subdued apricotty fruit and hops at mid-palate. Not bad. Corn-yellow/gold beer; somewhat fluffy off-white head, not very stable. Metallic-grassy nose, even a bit like sewage water - otherwise said, pretty unappetizing. Unpleasant, slightly lemony-sour and very metallic taste, plus a flavour as from decaying grass. light, watery, fizzy, but the aggressive flavour keeps coming. Ugh! Txs to DavidA - I guess ;^} PorterPounder (8364) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 4, 2004
24 oz industrial sized can. Wet paper bag aroma, very pale light golden appearance, soapy white head. Has somewhat of a metallic flavor with a little bit of honey sweetness thrown in the back end. The can says that it is "Fully Kraeusened" - what the hell does that mean? Not much going on here - City Breweyr seems to be content with brewing second rate beers. wlajwl (7213) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUN 10, 2015
Aroma is bread, fruit and a hint of spices/earthiness. The flavor is fruit, malts, bread and a tart finish. Braudog (6907) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 17, 2005
Can. Poured starchy yellow with a big stark white foam head. Starchy and corny, this reminds me of the old school beers my grandpa used to drink.
