Bottle from JSG Wine Merchants, Hills Road, Cambridge. Light gold, fairly flat but with the tiniest bit of head. Very little aroma. Some malt, citrus, green apple. Taste is on the bitter side, sharp and refreshing. Slight bitter aftertaste. Weak body. This is probably the template for the average beer: neither good nor bad, just there. The name says it all: drinkable only if it’s Hobsons Choice. Theydon_Bois (19537) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2014
