Purchased at Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont, MA, enjoyed at my quaint B&B in Boston. Happy to have finally found a place that had a CT beer! Appearance is a slightly cloudy gold with a thin frothy white head. Aroma has a light pine hop smell with a crisp malt backing, smells nice. Taste is pretty good, goes down slightly crisp but also with a good bitterness. There's nothing exceptional about this, but it's pretty solid. BroSpud (2188) - , Massachusetts, USA - MAY 2, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a pillowy white head and plenty of lacing. Very drinkable IPA. Tmoney99 (14479) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 8, 2013
Bottle. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bitter flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. Very good brew. Braudog (6712) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Reddish tinged amber beer. Drinks with a metallic hoppiness, finishing with that funky, mushiness you get in some homebrews. Improves as it warms, but my least favorite here so far. (#4902, 1/14/2013) rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 19, 2012
Tap. Deep amber with small head. Sweet with substantial malt base and hoppy bite. Pretty big ipa, but not crazy about the hops.

Poured amber color out of a bottle. Interesting packaging. Nice hoppy citrus smell. Flavor was very bitter and didn’t have enough balance for me but i look for more malty overtones in my beers. jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 9, 2012
12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops and some caramel and pale malts. Flavor the same. Average texture. A pretty standard IPA. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - AUG 17, 2012
On draft at the brewery. Meh, way too malty, if you’re not gonna drop bank on hops then drop the abv. How hard is that? Beerian1975 (1) - Ellington, Connecticut, USA - AUG 13, 2012 does not count
For those who love a good all american IPA this beer is excellent. Bitter but not too crazy, and no complaints whatsoever! jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 12, 2012
Bottle. Pours medium orange with a large white head. The nose is light sweet grain, some orange peel and herbal hops. The taste is bitter orange peel and sweet cereal. Hot alcohol flavors have a real presence on the finish of this beer, and dominate the residual tastes left in your mouth. It drinks above it’s 7.2%, not a great thing in my book. I talked to a few locals while I was drinking this, and they informed me that this is usually much better on draft. Perhaps a flawed batch? Anyway, not a great IPA.
