3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured amber color out of a bottle. Interesting packaging. Nice hoppy citrus smell. Flavor was very bitter and didn’t have enough balance for me but i look for more malty overtones in my beers.
Pours clear copper with a medium head. Aroma is nothing to write home about. A bit of grass and caramel. Medium in body with good carbonation. Flavor is surprisingly not all that happy. Sweet malt flavors are up front with a bitter end. Despite the lack of complexity, I actually quite enjoyed this. malrubius (2960) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - DEC 5, 2014
Bottle from Table and Vine, I think. Wicked fresh. Hazy copper with lasting dense head and lace. Mild spicy piney aroma. Medium crackery nutty malts with mild fruity sweetness. Assertive spicy lingering bitterness. Fairly dry. Nice draft-like texture. Very good. sailracer (486) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 6, 2014
Bottle. This one had a bit more hop aroma compared to the blonde on blonde and was a lot more bitter as well. OK, but I prefer the blonde on blonde. bigguns22 (800) - Maryland, USA - OCT 8, 2014
A good beer but not great. Pour is dark amber with a thin white head. Aroma is mostly a caramel malty thing with light hop notes. Malty and sweet in the front with a dry hop middle and a bitter finsh. TaktikMTL (7874) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 15, 2014

Amber with a thin head. The aroma is sweet malts with not much hops. The flavor is fruity sweet for a moment then is extremely bitter. Decent but a bit harsh.

Bottle at the cabin in NH. Pours perfectly clear, penny copper with a large, lasting, slightly off-white head. The nose holds bread, caramel, grains, some unfermented wort, barley juice, light pine and leaves. Light to medium sweet with some dry bread, pine, off smokey notes, dry caramel, berries. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. A bit of dirty, earthy bitterness on the finish with more pine and leaves, dry bread, further off smoke notes, alcohol and more dry caramel. Mediocre, really. mcox90 (2107) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 5, 2014
Sampled at Julio’s Spring Beer Fest. Pours amber/orange with a small white head. Grapefruit, citrus aroma. Quite sharp. Flavor, too, is bitter grapefruit hops. Not a lot of malt balancing it out. Medium bodied. Decent, if average, IPA. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 11, 2014
