Can shared with my wife. Pours a hazed amber with a medium sized white head. Soft malt and toast on the nose, light toast. Medium bodied, sweet with some malt, a bit of toast. Malt and toast into the finish, with a bit of plum sweetness. Easy and toasty with a bit of sweetness and gentle malt lingering.

Amber/orange color, clear. Somewhat subdued, bready aroma, with a more vigorous flavor, made of very English malts yet in a recognizable American style. O.k. On tap at Bidwell Tavern, Coventry, Ct. 17Beer (371) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 12, 2017

Sampled the weekend of Streets and Annie’s wedding. Pours a light amber body with soft off white head. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with normal carbonation and notes of bread, fresh dough, caramel malt, soft prickly herbal hop and spice. Pretty plain, but not bad. This may not be my favorite CT beer but I’m not leaving this without saying it may not be my bottle of beer but it shouldn’t stop any beer drinker from trying it tfontana (1014) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 31, 2015
Bottle. Aroma is bready malt with slight fruitiness. Appearance is cloudy orange with negligible white head and minimal lacing. Taste is moderately sweet maltiness with hints of fruit. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture and lively late carbonation that bites the tip of the tongue. Finish is mildly bitter and long. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 16, 2015
4oz on tap at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Oxford CT. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin white head. Leaves some decent bits of lace. Malty sweet taste, some cooked vegetable. Caramel. Mildly toasty. Medium body. Kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Moderate sweet taste, light bitterness. An alright amber ale. Underwhelming. Bebum (1018) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Hazy middle amber/honey color, explosive head.
Exhuberant nose, one of the most powerful I remember encountering in a beer, yeasty, hoppy, floral.
Middle body, strong flavor, very high carbonation as can be predicted from the head, asserrive mouthfeel, fairly long palate.
Bitter, more so because of the dryness, good acidity.
Hoppy, more than I expected, but also malty, resiny.
Too dry for the bitterness, so far as my palate is concerned.
