Draft. Dark amber color. Hoppy nose, delicious mouthfeel with combined sweet and hoppy flavors. Slightly sweet finish. A very tasty beer! sherm1016 (1274) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 17, 2012
On draft at the City Steam Brewery Cafe. Pours a deep amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is malty, sweet cereal, a little fruity, plum maybe. Medium on the palate with a soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, toffee, a little bit of spicy hops, with a light bitter finish. Not bad. matalec1984 (115) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 22, 2012
Deep amber pour with a small 1 finger head that fades quickly.
Aroma is very malty lots of toffee notes and slight hint of spice.
Flavor is very 1-dimensional but tasty. Caramel/toffee and very malty. Good be a little better balanced as I don’t get a lot from the hops at all.
Very easy drinker.
For a style I generally don’t like this is pretty good. A little to sweet but not bad. joebudzjoe (677) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 18, 2012
Draft from Monster B’s, Stamford CT. This is the sweetest amber ale I’ve ever tried, caramel, toffee, buttery tastes with notes of cherries. Not great. justabeergeek (269) - Albany, New York, USA - MAR 19, 2012
Deep amber pour with a 1 finger head when poured into a pint glass--decent lacing. Lots of caramel in the nose and even more in the taste. Very sweet caramel, toffee, and malt with a light bitterness. Simple, but tasty.

Multi-hued copper/light brown color. Small white head. Malty, nutty, sugary aroma. Flavor is the same. Usually I don’t like this stuff but this one excels. LinusStick (3530) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2011
Not a bad amber given to me by a coworker who visited CT. Aroma was very nice. Strong caramel and toffee...very full and round. Pour was a nice clear dark amber with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was very full as well. This beer is full of caramel flavor with not much else going on. Very sweet but not cloying. No hops getting in the way of this malt monster. Decent carbonation rounds the beer out. Better as it gets warmer. BiddleBrau (1238) - Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 7, 2011
Amber with nice, just off-white head. Caramel malt nose. Toasted malt flavor. Overall, a fairly mild brew but well flavored. wilnatp (719) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 17, 2011
Tap. Darker amber pour. Aroma and taste of butter, caramel, malt, and earth. Creamy mouthfeel was good. Just okay. rocbyter (2184) - Waterbury, Connecticut, USA - JAN 10, 2011
Malty apple aroma. Clear amber color with a small white head. Light bitter beginning that fades in the finish. Light sweet throughout.
