Multi-hued copper/light brown color. Small white head. Malty, nutty, sugary aroma. Flavor is the same. Usually I don’t like this stuff but this one excels. tiggmtl (4544) - East York, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 15, 2004
Mild dark malts and flowery hops in the nose. Clear copper coloured with initially large, white, fully-diminishing head. Mild citrusy hops and some caramel malt sweetness. Some lactic character. Very watery body. On tap at the brewpub with DYCSoccer17, MartinT and Rastacouere. johnnnniee (4376) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 18, 2013
On tap at the source.
Comes to the table a clear amber color with a small head but a decent amount of lace. Smells of light caramel and brown sugar with a earthy spicy hop to provide some balance. The flavor is earth and spicy hop with a hint of skunk and a solid caramel malty backbone. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sweet mouthfeel. Nice approachable easy drinking ale. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 5, 2009
Tap @ the pub. Clear copper color with an almost white head. Nutty malt with a light citrus make up the aroma. Malty flavor with some toasty notes and a mild citrus hop. Dry bitter finish. Nuffield (4187) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUN 26, 2017
Amber/orange color, clear. Somewhat subdued, bready aroma, with a more vigorous flavor, made of very English malts yet in a recognizable American style. O.k. On tap at Bidwell Tavern, Coventry, Ct.

On tap at City Steam. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malt and light fruits. Flavor of light pale malts, slight wheat, and a tinge of flowery and grassy hops. Ok, but boring. DYCSoccer17 (3705) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 15, 2005
I believe they now consider this an "Amber" as the sign on the wall said "Naughty Nurse Amber Ale" as opposed to "Naughty Nurse Pale Ale" like it used to be...3 oz sampler. Slightly sweet, sour funky nose...weird aroma. Transparent copper color with off-white head. Caramelly start, turning roasty and dominated by malts. Hops are vitrually undetectable. Like I said, this is reminiscent of an Amber. LinusStick (3484) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2011
Not a bad amber given to me by a coworker who visited CT. Aroma was very nice. Strong caramel and toffee...very full and round. Pour was a nice clear dark amber with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was very full as well. This beer is full of caramel flavor with not much else going on. Very sweet but not cloying. No hops getting in the way of this malt monster. Decent carbonation rounds the beer out. Better as it gets warmer. jimhilt (2615) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Pours a three finger white head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Light hoppy nose and flavor is mellow with hops balanced by caramel malt. $2.29 for a 12oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, Ma. Bottled 5/23/14. boto (2261) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - JUL 20, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2004 Draught: Lighter amber color. It had a little head, but not too much, with a small amount of lacing. Aroma is a bit thin. I get some citrus hops and a little malt, plus some floral notes. There is a decent enough maltiness to the beer, but pretty this on any bitterness to the taste. Good, but a bit on the thin side for a Pale Ale. A typical "standard" house beer for a micro: good, but definitely brewed for the Macro masses.
