Draft. Dark amber color. Hoppy nose, delicious mouthfeel with combined sweet and hoppy flavors. Slightly sweet finish. A very tasty beer! rjplumer (1131) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 7, 2014
Deep fruity aroma. off-white head slims to a thin film on top. Hazy red amber body. Smooth sweet caramel with an earthy fruit taste. Nice use of classic English hops and malts. Dry finish. A respectable brew, I’d happily have more. kirk36 (223) - Peabody, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 27, 2013
I have an issue with this beer...it's a triple. A golden colored Carmel triple.

Dark orange, creamy white head. EPA nose of black iced tea that warms to citric notes and hints of toffee brittle. Flavor cuts to the chase with a heavier dried fruit tone thats balanced on touches of caramel. Nicely bittered from start to finish. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, soft bittersweet finish. Sessionable and well done. This and thier IPA rule the roost here... BeerdedDave (1850) - Beckley, USA - OCT 14, 2014
on tap at the brewpub; a great amber ale with a smooth caramel malt background and a nice noble hop flavor

Pours a golden/orange color with a white head. Aromas of caramel and spice with similar favors. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 20, 2006
Pours brown with a white head. Smells tealike with some nice hoppy notes. Tastes lightly hoppy with more tea qualities and a peppery finish. AirForceHops (7546) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 10, 2012
12 oz. bottle thanks to Waterbury. Served at cellar temperature. Nice looking beer. ¼ thick head white head sitting on a mostly clear amber liquid. Nose is lightly fruity with a bit of toffee. Great taste of light molasses, toffee and a fruity hop. Not bitter at all. The finish is very clean and short. Hops do give a light spice in the flavor. This is not your standard amber / English pale. It is really a nice brew that you could have many in a session. Braudog (6791) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JAN 17, 2013
Draft at the Hartford airport. Pretty standard-looking American ale -- dark amber and clean. Crisp and cleanly delivered, mellow malt and caramel. Very, very easy to drink. (#4920, 1/17/2013) Bebum (1039) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 8, 2015
Hazy middle amber/honey color, explosive head.
Exhuberant nose, one of the most powerful I remember encountering in a beer, yeasty, hoppy, floral.
Middle body, strong flavor, very high carbonation as can be predicted from the head, asserrive mouthfeel, fairly long palate.
Bitter, more so because of the dryness, good acidity.
Hoppy, more than I expected, but also malty, resiny.
Too dry for the bitterness, so far as my palate is concerned.
