Pours brown with a tan head. Smells of sweet malt, some spicy undertones. Tastes sweet blended nicely with some light fruity elements on the finish. johnnnniee (4312) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 18, 2013
On tap at the source.
Comes to the table a reddish brown with a nice long lasting off white head. Smells of caramel and burnt sugars with a nice shot of dark fruits. Little to no hop aroma. The flavor is rich and malty with lots of sugary dark fruits and a rich melanoid and prune bit. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet almost bubbly mouthfeel. Nice dark lager, really nice actually. BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Tap at the brewpub. Clear orange amber pour with a spotty head. Very mild nose. Taste is mild sweet malts. Not a lot to this. Ernesto987 (6050) - Arizona, USA - AUG 17, 2012
On draft at city steam, tastes like butterscotch. Not too bad I got a glass with a handle AirForceHops (7240) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 3, 2012
On tap @ brewpub. Pint glass. Typical dark layer color. Even when warm you can’t pick up any aroma. It does what the brewmaster inetented. Balanced with ample hops and malt. More mtg then anything. Body is light with a short clean finish.
