Golden yellow - cloudy appearance with some sediment. Has a very spicy (coriander, clove) taste with citrus notes. Medium carbonation. jcwattsrugger (12471) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 12, 2006
on tap-pours a white head with yellow color that’s clear at the bottom/hazy at the top, a long settling period for the carbonation. Aroma is clove, cinnamon, wheat. Taste follows, musty. Good carbonation. Was much better without the orange wedge. SwedeDog (364) - Windsor, Connecticut, USA - APR 1, 2006
Tap at the brewpub. Looks nice enough. Hazy gold with a fluffy white head that never really goes away. Bland aroma, however. Mostly wheat in the nose, and there wasn’t much of that. I guess there also was a hint of lemony citrus and maybe some orange peel. Crisp in the mouth, but the flavor follows suit with the nose. Somewhat bland and lead by the wheat. There’s a very slight corriander in the mouth, but the rest is the same as the nose. It’s drinkable, but then again, water is drinkable, too. Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - FEB 20, 2006
Pours gold with a white head. Hazy, but closer to a hefeweizen in aroma with lemons more prevelant than the coriander and banana notes usually associated with this type of beer. Tastes citrussy with some floral and peppery elements working their way in. Very drinkable. Cottrell (72) - Connecticut, USA - APR 30, 2005
Looked great in the large weizen glass, hazy yellow with a large sticky head. Aroma is very pleasing, coriander, orange peel, and some spicy yeasty notes as well. Starts with citric sweetness, bitter and sweet orange peel, coriander, then turns lightly wheaty and spicy in the finish. Very nice beer, definitely quaffable.

On draught at the brewpub, 4/13/05. Light, lemon tinted pale-gold/white appearance, very hazy with a large amount of white head, moderate retention, high lacing. Aroma of light belgian aromatic malt, a hint of dry, biscuity graininess and some lightly juicy coriander and lemon notes. Slight amount of yeast. Flavor begins with a huge coriander flavor, some yeast peeking in, and a bit of light pale malt as a backbone. The mouthfeel is soapy and as the flavor progresses, some sharp alcohol or astringent spice notes invade and seem to ruin the flavor. A sweet and sour mix of malt and spices. Medium body is not overly prone to wateriness, but crisp, clean and well-executed, this is not. DYCSoccer17 (3703) - Woodland, California, USA - JAN 10, 2005
3oz sample. By far the "highlight" of my sampler platter. Why this is on tap in the dead of winter, I do not know...Citrus orange coriander nose that is expected with a touch of mustiness. TRANSPARENT blonde with a small white head. Needs some cloudiness and and carbo, baby. Sweet, gumbally banana and candy flavors dominate throughout. This is very tasty. It’s too bad it looks like crap. vwsteggie (684) - Paxton, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 1, 2004
Has a hazy yellow color with a lot of carbonation and a spice/orange smell. Taste is of the spice/orange and finishes slightly dry. Overall another great beer and my favorite from this brewery so far. Aurelius (5382) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JAN 29, 2004
Nice fruit and cream aroma. Only very slightly hazy. Lots of pear and vanilla over yer basic wit framework. Not much curacao. Substantial mouthfeel. Fades fast and doesn't cling. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 27, 2003
Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is mild sweet, grassy, coriander, light orange peel. Taste is much the same. Light-medium body.
