COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A very complex DOPPLEDUNKELDOUBLEWEIZEN….which is sort of a cross between a dark German wheat and a Belgian Double, with a little oak aged Barley wine thrown in for good measure! 21P., served in a brandy glass.

Pours dark brown almost black with a thin almost nonexistant head. Aroma is sweet slightly malty, dark fruits fig prune and slightly spicy. The taste is defrinitely different heavy on the spice, ginger, slight belgain funk, a little apple, and dark fruits like fig. Not bad but I don’t really see the oaked age barely wine aspect.

Very unusual beer. Pours a cloudy brown with a thin tan head. Smells of roses, oaky, dry, some dark fruit. Tastes of sweet wheat, caramel, some nice dark fruit. Distinct Belgian quality. Very enjoyable.
