I poured this from a can into glass and with the beer got what looked like dead bug and tobacco specs. I don;t .what they gave me. I took a few small sips, felt like latex on tounge and made me feel a little weird. minus 1 is my score.

Ljus gyllene i färgen med vitt skum. Doftar svagt av söt malt, gräs wellpapp. Smakar svagt av söt malt, majs, wellpapp, gräs, liten bitterhet på slutet.

On tap at Casa Romaneasca, Brazov. Standard golden Pilsener color, short head. Very herb taste...

33cl screw-cap. As you open the bottle - sharp smell of herbal hops hits your nose. Pale golden (SRM 3) clear pour with thick, big head, that stays for almost a minute. Medium bitter pale lager, with slightly more hops than usual (close to bohemian pilsener). Slightly citric. Light bodied and rather thin. Actually quite dry. Average carbonation. Short bitter finish. This is a drinkable pale lager. Similar to Estonian Saku Originaal and A. Le Coq Alexander.

Very pale yellow colour. Light aroma. Taste of light herbal hops, and metal. Quite watery. I wouldn’t drink another.

A half finger of head on a clear, yellow colored body. Poor head retention. The aroma is grain and a stale clover honey. Weird. The taste is quite bitter with a high level of dryness and pucker factor. Not good. The texture is crisp with a ton of carbonation and light body. There’s too much going against this beer.

Can from Istanbul Supermarket, Smethwick. Notes of cinder toffee. Other notes of cellophane wrapping, perhaps enclosing some flowers, which are being taken to a brassy paramour at work. Always a bit risky making a move on someone at work. Anyway, this Romanian lad is friskily fizzy, urbanely crisp and sheet ice-like; coupled with a hesitation of coco malt. The flavours are confidently low-key (i.e. there isn’t that much flavour). But blow me, this is delicious - it tastes like that beer in Ice Cold in Alex - well earned. 3000 rates is nonsense of course - a meaningless milestone. And yet, oh and yet, it’s also a chance to reassess one’s life progress. And this is where I am - live tweeting a can of Romanian Lager. Whisper it, but I think I just might have ’made it’. Top of the World, Ma.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2016 Re-rate 10/16: Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Stas. Grainy, a bit sweetish, slightly bitterish finish. 4/3/4/3/8=2.2

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks eyes_wide_shut. Clear pale golden. Aroma of corn, a bit of hay and light grassy notes. Sweetish and grainy flavor with a bit of grassy hops notes in a mildly bitter finish. Light-bodied. Not too offensive. 3/2/4/2/7=1.8

Bottle. Following my Romanian wife into the world of "wonderful" Romanian beer. Pours pale yellow with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some residual lacing. Aroma is grain, hay, corn syrup. Flavor is about the same, a bit of green apple. Lightly sweet, light grassy bitter finish. Not bad for a pale lager.

500ml can. Pours golden yellow, clear with lively carbonation, an average white head with good lacing and okay retention. Aroma of hops, malt, . Taste is crisp with a malty sweetness. some mild bitterness. Not bad, but really nothing special. It’s surprisingly decent though.
