Clear pale yellow with a pilsner-style white head with good retention. Nose dominated by boiled corn, with feint citrus. Tastes like corn, with a bit of bitterness in the background. Fatehunter (2561) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - JAN 20, 2013
A half finger of head on a clear, yellow colored body. Poor head retention.
The aroma is grain and a stale clover honey. Weird.
The taste is quite bitter with a high level of dryness and pucker factor. Not good.
The texture is crisp with a ton of carbonation and light body.
There’s too much going against this beer. dnicolaescu (2534) - Chișinău, MOLDOVA - JUN 10, 2013
Head: white, medium, frothy, avg. retention. Colour: pale yellow, clear.
Aroma: malt, grain. Taste: malt sweetness, a touch of hops in the finish.
A standard sweetish lager, no off-flavours thankfully. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 27, 2008
Thanks Joebrew. I think. Straw yellow with faint head. Sweet corn nose and a sugary body with a relatively smooth finish (for the night at any rate). bulldogops (2490) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 1, 2010
500mL can at the LCBO. 4.8%. Clear watery yellow pour, very pale, with an bubbly white foam that oozes out of the can. Aroma is light malts and extremely grainy, mild hoppiness. Taste is very bland, watery, with a macro lager vibe running right through. No crisp bitter hop edge, not even a pleasant bubbly mouthfeel. Bland and boring...

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma has a hint of bready malt and earthy hops, very faint. Taste follows, really clean malt profile, a hint of earthy hop bitterness on the finish, really watery with medium carbonation. Overall it’s quite clean but extremely boring. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 2, 2011
Pretty easy drinking brew, overall its quite nice, as it got warmer it started to taste extra bitter and not in a great way. GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - JAN 27, 2006
While this one was the third of four differnt Romanian beers my friend "smuggled" back into the US for me, I was expecting more garbage like the first two. However this one suprised me, because it wasn’t actually bad compared to the first two. This was was very crisp, nicely hopped, no aftertaste of corn or formaldahyde. I was just a nice beer. I can see this one going down very nicely after a long walk (or run, depending on who you and where you are) thru the streets of Bucharest or Transylvania or perhaps Miklosvar. All in all, my favorite so far of the Romania brews. If stranded in Romania, get this one." NoiZe (2323) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2007
Yellow coloured brew. It’s not great, but it’s drinkable. A bit watery and fruity. Boring beer. androman (2291) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 31, 2014
