A half finger of head on a clear, yellow colored body. Poor head retention.
The aroma is grain and a stale clover honey. Weird.
The taste is quite bitter with a high level of dryness and pucker factor. Not good.
The texture is crisp with a ton of carbonation and light body.
There’s too much going against this beer. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 27, 2008
Thanks Joebrew. I think. Straw yellow with faint head. Sweet corn nose and a sugary body with a relatively smooth finish (for the night at any rate). Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 2, 2011
Pretty easy drinking brew, overall its quite nice, as it got warmer it started to taste extra bitter and not in a great way. GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - JAN 27, 2006
While this one was the third of four differnt Romanian beers my friend "smuggled" back into the US for me, I was expecting more garbage like the first two. However this one suprised me, because it wasn’t actually bad compared to the first two. This was was very crisp, nicely hopped, no aftertaste of corn or formaldahyde. I was just a nice beer. I can see this one going down very nicely after a long walk (or run, depending on who you and where you are) thru the streets of Bucharest or Transylvania or perhaps Miklosvar. All in all, my favorite so far of the Romania brews. If stranded in Romania, get this one." NoiZe (2322) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - JUL 8, 2007
Yellow coloured brew. It’s not great, but it’s drinkable. A bit watery and fruity. Boring beer.

Medium bubly aspect, discreet head of short resistance. Little metallic and pale aroma, notes of dampen grains and little other. Watery and bitterish taste, washed-out and unbalanced alcohol final. Kita (2209) - Koper, SLOVENIA - MAR 11, 2015
Can, 0.50l, shared with colleagues, courtesy of Vlad. Clear pale golden color with thin frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grassy, grainy and papery. Tastes moderate sweet malty with crisp and dry mouthfeel and surprisingly bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and lively carbonation in palate. Easily forgettable... Draft at Jamie’s Italian Restaurant in Budapest The waiter called this Csiki Sor. This is closest I could find. It is brewed in Transylvania, Romania. The lager poured a clear gold color with a white head and lacing. There is malty aroma and a very neutral taste. The medium body beer had average carbonation. The finish was clean and dry. fugitive (2028) - Athens, GREECE - JUN 9, 2015
