EBF 2017. Pours a pretty clear golden with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is indeed orange-heavy. All in a good way, of course and in line with the theme. Juicy, fruity. Taste is more of the same and moderately bitter. Medium body, medium carbonation. Juicy. A pretty solid juicy IPA. I’d certainly grab a pack if I could! hiphops (324) - caldwell, New Jersey, USA - MAR 18, 2017

from tap at EBF 2017, boston. unclear bright gold pour with a very nice white head offering good retention and lacing. citrusy melons, lots of tropicalness, chalky and fragrant bitter herbs, pale malt fruitiness, very fruity and clean american yeast action. moderate carbonation, light body - oily; balanced and almost juicy tropical-citrusy finish. very solid fragrantly hoppy offering. Oddly enough Extra Pulp is not very "pulpy". Only a touch of haze to this copper-blonde beer. Off-white head atop is rather flimsy.
It may not look like a NE IPA, but it certainly makes up for that in the nose, as tons of fresh, aromatic hops impart a variety of tropical fruits and soft citrus notes. Light peach, tangerine, nectarine, lots of mango are all backed by honey and wheat-like notes from the grains. Had a few of these over the night and never realized it was 8.5%. No booziness or flaw.
In the mouth it’s soft, as expected with a malty and wheat-laden texture that shows strong attenuation. Mangos, pineapples and juicy citrus fruits are all very flavorful and comprise the force of the beer with the malts left on the sideline. There was a touch of almost buttery/bready chracter as the only detractor. Either something from the specialty malt (whatever is creating the copper color) or a touch of diacetyl. Hint of alcohol sharpness on the finish and tons of juicy fruits lingering long. A hell of a job done here and one of the better expressions of Mosaic I’ve had in a while.
[2/1/17] Draught at The Tip Tap Room in Boston. Hazy golden. Great fruity hops aroma, tropical. Pretty dry flavor with fruity hops, light oniony notes, bitterish. Medium-bodied. Very nice.

16 oz can from anniversary party. Pours a hazy dark orange color and topped by a smooth head of off white foam that settles quickly to a thin film and leaving steaks of lace behind on the glass. The aroma shows a huge bouquet of citrus fruit with orange, tangerine, and nectarines along with crisp wheat, toasted caramel malts, a touch of booze, and a big citrus hop profile. The flavor follows with the orange and tangerine up front to go with ample amounts of wheat and caramel malts. Citrus hops add ample bitterness to balance out the sweetness. Nearly full bodied with ample carbonation with some noticeable alcohol presence that leads to a bitter sweet citrus finish. A little too big of a body and not nearly as sessionable as Pulp, but still a really good hopped up wheat ale. dogfish120love (1339) - Westfield, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Bright clear orange. Aroma of onions and citrus. Flavor has a moderate sweetness Ernesto987 (6014) - Arizona, USA - JAN 23, 2017
Pint at the brewery, laura’s favorite. Lots of hop flavors balance with a thicker sweeter base. Some moderate bitterness in base to even out the additional sweetness in the body. ctipping (2356) - Florida, USA - DEC 3, 2016
On tap at Civil Society 1st Anniversary. Hazy orange. Smells of citrus with a garlic bite. Tastes of citrus and a huge wheat profile. Too much. Garlic hop bite. Medium heavy. Definitely prefer regular Pulp to this, but it’s good.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2017 Can. Burnt orange pour with a white head. Big orange and nectarine bouquet. The taste follows suit. Loads of carbonation with bitterness from the hops in the finish. The CO2 makes it a bit difficult to get too much in the way of nuance. That being said, it has a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Good body with an average mouthfeel. Original rating 3.8.
On tap at the brewery 1/20/17. Clear yellow golden pour with a white head. The carbonation issues have totally been cleared up. Loads of grapefruit and orange hops with a strong caramel malt presence. Above average body and mouthfeel.
