Tap at CCA. Low haze dark amber pour. Webby lacing. Lemon and flashes of diacetyl in the nose. Hoppy and mildly acidic body, some sharpness and mild roast and nuts. Maybe some waxy hot pepper in there. Moderate lactic backend. Strange but drinkable. Travlr (26431) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Draft at the source. Clear golden amber color, white head. Aroma of citrus, flowers. Taste is tropical fruit, citrus, some roasty and toasty elements near the finish. Much more floral and fruity than your average brown. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 21, 2013
Light brown pour with a khaki head. Citrus hop aroma. Grapefruit and orange notes are quite strong. Some pine, floral hops, and a hint of tropical fruit. Mild roasted malt, some toast, nuts, and toffee. Nice dry flavor, a touch of bitterness, and quite a bit of citrus. Nuts, toast, toffee, and a hint of roast. Plenty of grapefruit, pine, and floral hops.
