11st street was different than most wheat beers I’ve had in the past. I loved the tart that the pomegranate adds to the beer. Very refreshing beer in 100+ heat.
Tap at CCA. Clear golden with soapy lace. Nose is sweet cherry syrup. Salty peanut shell body with mild butter. Small acidity. Drinkable. Getbetter (1033) - East Palo Alto, California, USA - AUG 3, 2013
From a tap at the brewery.A pale yellow in color with a white head.a tart fruity beer with a thin body. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 18, 2012
Pours amber/orange in color with a white head. Nose starts off with some fruity aromas, a bit of grass, some sweet bread, and mild yeast. There is only mild pomegranate aroma to it. The flavor is somewhat sweet but also lightly tart. Wheat and bread malt flavors, undertones of citrus peel, and the slightest hint of banana. As with the aroma, the pomegranate character is fairly subtle.
