COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A quintessential pale ale, Carlisle is one of Claremont Craft Ales most popular beers. Light on alcohol, but full on flavor, this beer is brewed exclusively with Cascade hops from the Pacific Northwest. Tap at Claremont Craft Ales. Clear light orange pour. Weak foam. Nose is grenadine, sticky. Taste is all water with big plastic. Really not good. Watery to the max to the point where Im pretty sure this did not ferment. Possibly only 1% abv. Barley hoppy as well. Strange.

Draft at the source. Cloudy golden yellow color, white head. Aroma of grassy citrus. Taste is light lemongrass. Not bad.

The beer pours a slightly hazy amber color with an off-white head. Nose starts off with some citrus/orange peel aromas and peach. There is a massive bubblegum aroma to this, unfortunately. Some bread sweetness and a mild grassiness. The flavor has some mild floral hops along with the citrus peel. Maybe a hint of banana and the same intense bubblegum character. Some bready malt gives the beer a bit of sweetness and there is a rather mild bitterness on the finish.
