Pinball (12404) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2010
clear yellow, large white head.
sweet hoppy faint floral aroma, also some malts.
flavor is powder sugar sweet, corn, hops bitterness.
for a nonalc macro there is a good level of bitterness, and the aftertaste is also quite bitter, but also sugary sweet. all in all a decent lowalc, tastes best if being drunk in a hurry.

JPMarat (68) - GREECE - JUN 20, 2010
Well, very acidy, like there was lemon all the way,and too carbonated.Failed my expectations...

gunnfryd (15330) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 23, 2010
Bottle. golden colour with a white head. Aroma is wort, malt. Flavour is wort, malt, hay, herbs. Not my kind of beer

yngwie (17261) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2010
Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a finger-thick white head. Wort-like nose with a gentle addition of fruity, flowery scents and hay. Quite bitter flavor with hay and pale malts, thin on the palate. Bitter finish, just as the initial flavor. Overall, this is a quite nice and quenching, well balanced alcohol free beer. Still, nothing I could drink on a regular basis. 091202

Zita (6331) - Assentoft, DENMARK - APR 23, 2010
grass, bread, pale yellow, clear, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, lively,

ha1ag (950) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - APR 11, 2010
Canned from the local station to try a non-alcoholic beer. Light golden colour with thin white head. Aroma is like a weak watery pils with malts and hops. Flavour is the same: very malty and hoppy. This is drinkable but still has this strange non-alco hint.

FreshHawk (596) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 14, 2010

A - Clear golden color with lots of bubbles rising up. Large sticky, foamy white head. Looks like the top of a bubble bath. Very good retention.

S - Very light almost non-existent smell. A little grassy smell. Faint pale malt and bread scent too.

T - Clean and crisp and light taste. Fair amount of grassy and herbal hops along with some bitterness. Minimal pale malt finish. Slight strange aftertaste, but that is mostly masked by hop bitterness.

M - Light and crisp. Also thin and fairly watery (what you would expect). Fairly high carbonation.

D - Well obviously ABV isn’t going to be a problem. Light crisp and easy to drink, flavor is a bit thin and has a slight strange aftertaste, but this is very minimal and most of the time the aftertaste is just a hop bitterness.

Notes: I think this is the first non/low alcoholic beer I have had. Hearing stories and descriptions of others, I have to believe that this is toward the top if not the pinnacle of the style. In the world of all the beers, this isn’t special or great, but in the world of non-alcoholic beers this is great. So if you are looking for essentially beer flavored water that won’t get you drunk, here you go, and hey it probably has more beer taste than other beer flavored waters that will get you drunk (Macros).

PS: Also I should note to anyone reading this, I try to review and rate beers both in an objective way (according to style) and subjective way (how the beer taste to me regardless of style). If I were to only rate using one system, the score would probably an A+ or a C-, respectively.

Hermod (8416) - Vantaa, FINLAND - NOV 11, 2009
33cl bottle. Very pale golden color. Thin white head. Sweet aroma with some herbs. Flavor is lightly sweet with some yeast and more herbs. Watery mouthfeel. One of the better Non-alcos I have tasted.

kiefdog (1827) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 4, 2009
12 ounce bottle from Total Wine, Tampa Fl. Pours a clear amber color with thin white head. Aroma is grass, herbs, wheat, yeast, bread, honey, light funk. Taste is about the same with some hints of caramel and light spice, some sour grass. Medium body, funky finish.

mithe (1959) - Opava & Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 27, 2009
(Bottle 0,33l)
Herbal sweet aroma. Clear yellow color, minimal white head. Light bitter, light sweet. Light bitter astringent finish.
