Bottle thanks to Beerman7777777. Pours a nice amber gold with thin white head. Aroma of citrus and slight floral hops, grass, and a strong malt backer. Flavor is smooth, but doesn’t have the defining characteristic I was hoping for besides a bready taste that seems out of place. Aftertaste is very pleasant of hops. Enjoyable and refreshing IPA, but nothing to hunt down.
On tap at RBSG tasting, RFD, Washington DC on 14 July 2006. Orangey- ginger colour. Plenty of hops in evidence but nicely balanced. Not too extreme. Not a huge blockbuster an IPA but very enjoyable.

20090706 12 oz bottle from Wine World. Orange amber with small but creamy off-white head. Light bodied, medium eff. Citrus, pithy, but overall quite mild flavor and aroma. Certainly not a hopocalypse. Nice crisp finish with citrus/floral bite. It’s fine, but doesn’t nearly live up to its own hype. jrob21 (3760) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 16, 2010
I admit I was swayed by the name of this one. Does not quite live up to the moniker but is still a drinkable IPA centered around some citrusy and grapefruit hops. Aroma is a little on the toasted grain side with some herbal and floral notes. Flavor is a little thin and the toasted grain comes through again. A little bit of sweetness and a bitter hop finish.

Bottle. good amber, golden color. aroma: floral hops. taste: at first i was expecting an explosion of floral hops and it ended up being a disappointment and not standing up to the "HOP-OCALYPSE" name. still a decent beer though Birdiebeagle (958) - Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 14, 2009
Bottle Pours a clear copper-orange with a good off white head. The head is lasting and laces nicely. Aroma is good. Some sweet floral hops with pine, and citrus. The carbination is good. Flavor is tasty, not as hoppy as I was hoping for but good. Nice balance of malts and ligjhtly bitter. Has an oily texture. The body is light to medium. The finish is okay and a pleasing aftertaste. Not a bad drinking beer. pineypower (3345) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - NOV 30, 2009
Bottle from Stateline. Pours out a clear light copper color with slight citrus hops, light caramel and some biscuit malts. Taste is clean with some citrus and light floral hop notes, cereal/bready malts, and a slight touch of some sweetness. Average IPA. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 24, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours a clear coppry amber with a small white short lived head. Aroma is mostly faint piney hops with some light grains. Taste is of floral perfumy hops upfront, slight biscuity malt, some citric hop finish, very slight hop bitterness. The taste is not bad, but I expected a lot more from such a big hop name.
