On tap at the Brewery in Buffalo with Patty and Erica. Dark brown pour with brown head and good lace. Aromas of coffee, chocolate and Chilis. Flavor much the same with coffee and chocolate upfront and the heat at the end. bartzluke (598) - Oklahoma, USA - JUL 3, 2016
5 oz taster at brewpub in Buffalo, WY. Black, opaque. A little lighter than I was hoping. Light-to-medium body. Taste is dry, more English style, dark malt, slight -to-moderate burn on the finish. Alright but not great. I’d like it to be spicer and fuller. Ferris (17165) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 24, 2014
Draft - Chocolate malts. Jet black with a rich brown head. Chocolate and with a good amount of chilli heat. Finish burns a bit but is still OK. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - JUL 5, 2013
Growler filled at the brewery and consumed the next day. Pours a very dark brown, just about black, that allows no light to pass through, with a moderate tan head that lasted through the first quarter of the glass and left partial lace. Very pleasant aroma of chocolate and chili. The flavor is chocolate, light roast, and chili pepper. The heat from the peppers is spot-on and does not overpower this beer. Mild bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Very good!
