22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head, nice lacing and lively carbonation. Aroma is of funky yeast, wheat malt and sour apples. Body is medium and crisp. Very sour, yeasty taste with wheat malt and fruity notes in the background. Finish is very sour. I think this brew is infected. Or maybe it is new style: Sour Heffeweizen. ben4321 (6607) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 2, 2012

Aroma: The nose is fairly fruity, with some lemon, apple, spice, hay, and a little grass
Appearance: This one pours a hazy orange color with a fizzy white head and light lace
Flavor: Tastes rather sweet/fruity, some spice, and actually a touch tart too, without much bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, this one has a rather fizzy carbonation, and a slightly tart finish
This one is fairly interesting, but it isn’t really that well done. It’s not really on style either. I’d call it solid and interesting, but it didn’t totally work.
22oz bottle from jtclockwork, thanks James! Pours a cloudy, golden colored body with a big, foamy, three finger-width, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is thinner with a good amount of lemon, wheat bread, clove, banana, and a light grass. Flavor is similar. Thinner wheats with a good amount of lemon, a bit of a grainy bread, some light clove and banana notes, and a light grassy bitterness. Finishes dry and lemony with a light wheat and a touch of spice. Medium length aftertaste following a light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, an okay hefe. Fairly lemony with a thin wheat and light yeasty spicing. Not terrible, but unremarkable. jgb9348 (6399) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - SEP 12, 2012
Perfect hazy golden coloured body with a light copper glow and a thick, four centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of hay, grass, wheat, coriander seed, yeast and a little sweetness. Medium-bodied; Assertive banana, clove, bread, yeast and coriander seed flavours come through with more wheat than anything else, and a strong but nice blast of sugars and yeast. Aftertaste shows a very good wheatie quality with a nice freshness, some mild yeast notes and a good sweetness that isn’t bitter at all. Overall, a nice hef with a bunch of good flavours and the typical over yeasted/over sedimented Climax beer - but this one is worth searching out for. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-July-2012 for US$6.95 sampled at home in Washington on 12-September-2012. jtclockwork (16955) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 3, 2012
