Scent has a odor of sauerkraut. Nice carbonation. The yeast gives off a slight Leamon flavor. Not a bad beer. Would recommend other more well known panics if you are looking for a truly sour beer. This is a nice entry level beer in th sour category. Thanks ben4321

Aroma is acetic, fruit & funk.
The flavor has the acetic acid, some fruit but not much else. A shot of vinaigrette in a glass of wine mixed with water.

It smells old, with dusty, musty notes right away, dried fruits, oaky funk, bread, and caramel and brown sugar sweetness. The flavor has more tartness, with plenty of mixed tropical and tart citrus fruits, sweet malts, and sugar. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, tart mouthfeel and low carbonation. Very odd sour. Bomber to snifter (shared with. The group by me; thanks jtclockwork). Looks good for the style; a fairly opaque brown with off-white lacing. 651mL thanks to nimbleprop. Pours a clear, deep red, coffee foam. Sticky lacing. Nose is sugar, mildly hoppy, sticky candy, some mold, paper. Taste is very nice: sweet and spicy blend, oily, lactic, savory butter and rendered fat. Palate is oily, fatty, dense. Very nice albeit strange Flemish red attempt. Enjoyable. Bottle… Cloudy burnt-orange ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, beige head. The aroma is a jumble of big-time caramel, acetic acid, lightly funky wet leather and black cherries. Medium-bodied with laid-back carbonation. Gobs of sweet caramel malt in the flavor – too much. There is a nice, fruity, acidic undercurrent running through this, but the caramel sweetness is layered too heavily upon it. Finishes caramely, fruity and sweet-tangy.
