Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Clear, dark amber color with very little head. Aromas of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, and some peppercorn. Light body with a smooth, but thin texture. Dull flavors of sweet malt and tart bitterness. Unimpressive. kevd193213 (992) - Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA - JUL 27, 2008
BOTM Club bottle. Amber pour with medium tan foamy head. Aroma of malt and almonds. Slight bitter taste with caramel and malt present. Sharp finish. Pretty good. That1Guy (2240) - Colorado, USA - JUL 23, 2008
Never had much luck with organics or ambers. The combination doesn’t do much either. Just plain boring even though it looks sexy. Like the hottest chick you’ve ever seen then you find out she’s a lesbian. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Bottle from State Line. Pours ruby brownish with khaki head. Nose is caramel malt, some nuts, hops. Tastes a bit tart, with caramel malt, hops, and some charred cereal notes. Tmoney99 (15114) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Bottle Oxford Amber Ale. Pours clear copper color with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced malty flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of an average duration. My expectation where met.

labeled Oxford Class Organic Amber Ale in Bottle brought by my son from baltimore. Nice malty beer quite sweet with sour aftertaste. very Dark color and buttery notes. A bit too carbonated ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Pours a nice copper color with a short-lived off white head. Aroma is a lot of nice malt and caramel. Unfortunately the flavor doesn’t even remotely live up. Very bland boring beer. Kind of thin. Doesn’t do much on the palate and the back end is fairly metallic. radagast83 (8624) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 19, 2008
From cask at Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest. Beer pours an slightly darker amber color with a white head. The aroma is sweet, with a nice malt component. Pretty refreshing in my opinion. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 12, 2008
bottle. pours a deep amber with a bit of white head. not bad, but kinda blah. not much going on in the nose... just a bit of bready malt - as it warms. a bit thin and watery on the palate.... but as it warms, it becomes fuller. there is some caramel and a touch of bitterness. short lived finish. I would not buy this in a store.... Lowe1983 (1656) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2008
Pours a darker amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is pretty sweet with mostly caramel malts with a hint of biscuity malts and floral hops. Hops come out a little more on the flavor but not that much more. Caramel and biscuit malts dominate with a very slight hop flavor on the finish.
