At the Glebe location. Has a fairly thin white creamy head and goes away quick enough and leaves a thin ring. ok lacing. Has a golden appearance. Medium carbonation. Aromas of grainy malts and mild floral type hops. A bit wheaty too. Mild ginger flavours, more malty and grainy taste with a bit of lemony mild flavour. Creamy mouthfeel, but also just slightly watery. Light and easy drinking. Not bad. KansaiBeerLvrs (5153) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 16, 2014
On tap at the Ottawa beerfest. Ginger beer
A clear gold with a solid earthy ginger root aroma. Rough mouthfeel but it works. The taste is pretty good, nice solid ginger flavor, a bit of nutty earthiness. Well balanced, success.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, caramel malt over Ginger root, fruity esters, OK. In mouth, a smooth mineral malt with light fruity and ginger notes, biscuit malt, OK. italarican (1550) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2013
On tap at the Richmond brewpub. Pours a clear canary yellow. Ginger candy, quite sweet of sugar, with very heavy soda-like carbonation. More ginger ale beer than ginger beer. Metalchopz (3384) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 23, 2013
Enjoyed a pint at lunchtime with PaleAleRider and his GF. Pours a slight hazed golden colour with a decent white head, average retention and minimal lace. Fresh ginger aromas with mild malt in the background. Medium-bodied, but refreshing. The ginger is present at first taste, but the grainy malt takes over and stays a while. A very nice beer, that does not feel "light", with the ginger not overpowering and nicely balanced with their typical cereal malts. Also available in cask for the time being.
