Keg at Clocktower Elgin St, Ottawa. Cloudy pinkish golden, small head. Aroma of bubblegum and raspberry candy. Sweet and fruity with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Butter, raspberry syrup and banana. No bitterness. Not great.

On tap at Ottawa Brewpub. Taste tested this one without the lemon slice. Arrived with a nice thick creamy head. Has a pale golden appearance with a slight red hue. Hardly any carbonation. The raspberry aroma is readily apparent. Flavours are also of the raspberry variety as well as malts, wheats and a bit of sweetness on the palate. Tangy mouthfeel. Not too bad.

Aroma: Smelling of sweet lemon, wheat dough and some raspberry.
Appearance: A hazy straw colored brew, some lacing and curtains.
Taste: Starting whit sweet white wheat bread, a very discrete raspberry presence, lemon juice and some grape-fruit peel.
Palate: Little carbonation, soft and smooth, refreshing with a medium body and a smooth dry finish.
Overall: Very cleverly balanced raspberry touch to this one.
Note: On-tap in Clarence Street Reviewed 2012-03-23.

Average wheat beer with very light dose of raspberry. Its good that the raspberry is this low, otherwise it would obliterate this beer. Pours golden. Finishes with light sweetness and sourness. Balance is ok but super light lager here. Tap at Burden brewpub.

DuffMan (10664) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 20, 2013
On tap @ Murray Street, Ottawa. Hazy light golden with a low creamy head. Aroma is lightly sweaty with sweet raspberry. The palate offers dominant raspberry character, slightly powdery but with low sweetness, and a light wheaty base. Toward the end I was getting little hints of watermelon. Good for the patio.

asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 31, 2013
Sweet, almost totally natural raspberry aroma in front of subtle, sweet caramel base malt. Almost clear gold under a white ring. Dry raspberry and malt flavour with a crispifying bitterness. Very quaffable. Light body, crisp and clean.

Kind of boring. Faint bit of raspberry taste and aroma, but really not much going on here. Pass.

(5 avril 2013)

italarican (1606) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 28, 2012
On tap at the Bank St. brewpub. Surprising bubble gum esters and raspberry sweetness. Mild overall but ester heavy with what’s there.

2.3
Eructoblaster (4370) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2012
On tap aht the Market Brewpub. Pale blond body with a thin white foamy head. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with light fruity and flowery hints. Its malty/hoppy taste is rather bland. The raspberry notes a barely detectable. Ends with a short bitter/grainy finish. Not a fruit beer.
