Bottle from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is fruity apple. Fruit beyond apple. Hints of spice. Marvelous aroma. Med body, almost. Flavor is ages appleskin, with lightly spicey notes. Finishes towards dry with a little spicy sugar. Delicate. Tasty. Stands up to Normandy ciders.

(750ml bottle) Pours a dark golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, apple, bandage, and barnyard. Flavor of apple, light band-aid, caramel, and some minerals with a dry finish.

Bottle… Clear yellow cider with a small, fizzy, white head. The nose is both sweet and acidic – apples galore – with a hint of cinnamon. Medium-bodied and astringent with airy carbonation. The flavor is all about sweet red apples that furnish only a trace of malic acidity. Finishes fruity and lightly sweet, and then becomes silly dry. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

Best Before 03.2013. Pours with a pretty deeply golden hued body (crystal clear) with a moderate white head that fizzes away. About as deep in hue as I’d possibly want my maltiest West Coast IPAs to get. Aromas are of apple, lightly funky, clove phenolics, a touch of sulfur, brett, slightly chlorophenolic: Normandy Cider bandaid character (light). Mild sweetness, light acid. Flavors are really pretty sweet, with a chlorophenolic smokey and band aid finish. Lightly bacony and residual sweetness in the finish. Very sugary upfront, medium apple character, light sulfur. Honestly it is missing complexity. Medium bodied, slightly sticky with lively carbonation. Forced Carbed bottle. Not my thing as far as ciders go.

wlajwl (6742) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Aroma is slightly tart/mostly sweet apples and fruit, while appearance is a bit darker than most ciders. The flavor is sweetness, slightly funky yeast and finishes with a mix of tartness and slightly dull.

Bottle, clear red orange in color with fast dissipating head, band aid and corn starch aroma , flavor is band aid, green apples, honey

joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - OCT 15, 2015
750 ml. Bottle. It pours a clear, effervescent golden color with a white head. The aroma is a bit mild with some sweet red apple and hints of caramel. The flavor is similarly sweet with good apple flavor and just a hint of fruity tartness. No funk or farmhouse character sadly. Tastes pretty much like apple juice to me. I’d be disappointed, but this was dirt cheap at $6.50 a bottle.

Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUN 2, 2012
The cider pours a medium orange color with a very bubbly, airy white head. The aroma has a ton of sweet apples in it and smells pretty nice. The flavor is pretty much straight apples and not too much else. The cider is fairly sweet. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

mar (5409) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 4, 2012
Orange/amber with a bubbly cream head. Nose is dry, tart, apples, lightly funky. Easy on the palate, not as tart as i was hoping, little sugary, thick, sweet, and a smooth finish.

nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 29, 2011
The aroma is has a lot of funkiness and what seems like a urinal cake in it. There is some sweet fruit and a hint on cork. The appearance is yellow with a fizzy head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth from carbonation. Overall a bit to funky but still good enough to drink.
