COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Clos Normand range of ciders is made in the heart of the Normandy region from the choicest apples grown on trees. This cider owes its rich, full flavor to the quality of the fruit we use as well as to the care we take at each stage of the cider-making process. The result is a subtle alliance of sweet and sour taste, that is the trademark of Clos Normand.

The taste is crisp, not too sweet. Really not to much to it. It is well carbonated. The color and clarity is very nice.

750 from ? I think Beer Geek. Pours amber gold with a fluffy white head. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is apple skin, cooked apple, pear, light yeast, and something like over-ripe fruit. It has substance and character. Much more so than common commercial ciders. It has a cooked character, but truthfully that’s an improvement over most ciders. In a very mild way it’s like baked cinnamon apple. Really nice drink.

Clear rust/gold color with just a whisper of head. Powerful apple aroma with other fruits in there as well. Medium bodied. Crisp, lightly tart apple flavor. Slightly sweet, but not too much- which is nice. Easy drinking with a mild dryness in the finish. Very enjoyable.

750mL bottle. Pours a deep golden body with an orange hue. Typical fizzy cider head. Aroma is apple and pear with a lot of musky qualities. As the bottle says its a Brut flavor. Crisp, dry, apples, full of carbonation. medium bodied. Nice. Very drinkable cider.

Big green bottle with a cork. Pop the lid and yer greeted with a friendly fruity aroma, almost like some kinda berries. Pour yeilds a pale lager appearance with plenty of sparkling. Taste is very good but it has this background flavor that I can’t really identify, reminds me of salad greens a little. A very decent amount of carbonation sizzles the tongue and I like it. Goes down really easy even tho it has a tad more dryness that I can appreciate. In the background I think I do detect a shade of tartness, but just barely. Overall a good cider tasting experience, does not have that fruity alko pop feel to it that is so common with US ciders.

thedm (6180) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 6, 2009
This corked and caged bottled cider from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of frothy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were very quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange colored body. The mild aroma was apple peel. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish then flattened out after a while. The mild flavor contained notes of apple. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

illidurit (2340) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 4, 2009
Pours apple juice gold with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma is of apples simmering in brown sugar, and a touch of yeastiness. Flavor is just about exactly the same. On the sweet side for cider. Highly effervescent. Pretty decent.

750ml shared with a friend who likes cider. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is very sweet with a hint of yeast consistent with a champagne like quality. Taste is very nice with lots of apples, though its a bit thin. Overall not bad.

Bottle, 4% as Clos Normand Herb. Old apple aroma with a hint of vomit. Pale yellow colour. The flavour is medium-sweet with a slight taste of apple. Not acidic enough. Cardboard aftertaste. GTIN: 3192200 000670

Acknud (1081) - Morganfield, Kentucky, USA - AUG 5, 2008
Under-rated. Golden pour with head like champagne. Aroma is crisp of apples. Taste is sweet and sharp in nature with a nice apple bite. Nice cider.
