4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2017 Pint(s) at a (belated) holiday party. Pours hazy golden yellow with thin white head. Aroma is dank fresh juicy citrus notes. Taste is similar - big fresh citrus pith - tangerine, grapefruit, lemon. Dry, floral... not really juicy, as another review mentions, but tons of citrus flesh flavor. Creamy body, light hops on the back, clean finish, sizable bitterness - spot on for the style, though perhaps slightly out of place in an otherwise NE-style IPA. Yet another outstanding IPA from Cloudburst, yet another unique and delicious take on the style. Top notch. And, the cause behind this couldn’t be any better. Kudos.
Cloudburst, Seattle. Soft cream, hazy orange-yellow. Lovely heavy IPA body. Smooth with a slight bitter edge. Mango, really juicy. Creamy base. Really nice. Zeswaft (1787) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 25, 2017
Tap. Guess what? A cloudy tropical and citrusy IPA from Cloudburst that tastes like bubblegum. Heidbummer (1041) - SCOTLAND - FEB 17, 2017
Pint at brewhouse. Pours lurid orange, hazy. Massive juicy aroma, with some funk in the back. Loads of juice and citrus on the taste, hint of pine/soap. Complex and up there with Cloudwater. Fecking good. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - FEB 12, 2017
Draft at SB. Pours a cloudy bright medium orange with virtually no head, just some stringy whitish lace. Forward fry grapefruit peel and zest on the nose, maybe some blood orange. Creamy medium body with moderate carb. Lightly toasted caramel under a bunch of blood orange heavy grapefruit pith on the mid palate. Long dry finish. This one is the opposite of juicy, but flawless and beautifully done. Don’t follow the herd.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst. Still knocking on the door of #100. It’s about time I ask Steve to let me in on brewing a beer! If not, some free coasters or something will do. Thick, cloudy, orange juice like pour with a thin fizz head. Juicy citrus, orange, grapefruit aroma. Flavor matches the aroma. A little heavier on the bitterness with this one. Full of flavor, and very tasty. Will you guys ever run out of IPA ideas? I sure hope not. tcon25 (1025) - Duvall, Washington, USA - FEB 10, 2017
Draft pour at brewery, cloudy golden pour, thin head, pretty light ipa, some hop with a little citrus bite and almost a herb finish. Nice ipa as always.
