On tap @ Cloudburst. Listed here as 7% abv. Pours crystal clear light golden with thin creamy white head. Aroma is loads of hops - bright, floral, slightly vegetal. Taste is clean light caramel malt, nice toasty note on the back; hops come on sharply bitter up front and linger just slightly on the finish. Crisp, slightly juicy, and bitter - considerably more so than typical Cloudburst IPAs. Not my fave from them, but not bad, and easy winner over the OG version.

Tap. Filtered clear gold. Tropical citrus aroma. Flavor is straightforward citrus hops. Medium high bitterness. Tastes like every other Cloudburst IPa.

Draft at SB. Pours a clear medium gold with a loose white head. Bright tangy orange on the nose with light spicy pine counterpoint. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Very light and cleanly toasted nutty caramel base on the mid palate under a steady wash of crisp bitey orange hop oils with spicy pine counterpoint. Like a cleaner and lighter little brother to its semi-namesake IPA.

Slow Boat Tavern, Seattle creamy lace, soft haze orange. Fruity orange hop. Clean, snappy citrus. Big bitter, round full finish. Most bitter cloudburst in my memory. Very nice.

Draft pour pint at Pine Box. Killing time before Cloudburst opens, I find a beer elsewhere that I knownof, but didn’t know was released yet. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. This beer is good, rather than lucky though. A clean and clear golden pour with a foam head and rows of lacing. A mellow aroma of piney orange hops. Flavor is creamy and fricken delicious. I had to throw fricken in here somewhere. A very easy drinking, creamy IPA with the most subtle of bitterness. I feel like some oats as well. An absolute crusher of an IPA, which that line can be used on almost all of their Pales. Incredible.
