330ml bottle. Clearish brown colour with a nice tan head, good retention. Aroma: malty, caramel and chocolate, yeast, citrus. Taste: bittersweet, chocolate, caramel, bready, balanced by a surprising amount of hops, some citrussy notes. Medium bodied, smooth with a bit of a hoppy bitter finish to it. Hoppier than I expected but I liked it. blackisle (2892) - Amsterdam IJburg, NETHERLANDS - JUN 15, 2016

At home. 30/05/16. Ordered from Beerhawk. Pours a treacle toffee brown, with a frothy light head. Light aroma, but can pick up the hops. Smooth but hoppy with a bitter kick to it. Light on the palate. Goes down well. Less substantial than I was expecting.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666.
Appearance - ruddy amber with nice lacing.
Nose - yeast dominant. Light chocolate and nuts if you look for them.
Taste - light chocolate and nuts but enveloped by yeast. Peach melba yoghurt at the back.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish.
Overall - not clean and sweet enough for this style. It’s awright though. allmyvinyl (11182) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 6, 2016
