Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Wingman for the can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Mellow malts, light sweetness. Mellow hop skunk, a little pine. Mild orange and lesser tangerine. More hop skunk. Light dry spicy skunky finish. Tasty but dry and skunky.

Alkohol: 6,7% obj.
Chmiele: Citra, Mosaic
Słody: Pilzneński, owsiany, karmelowy
Drożdże: WLP095
Data puszkowania: 19.09.2017
Smak: W zasadzie lwią część poprzedniej recenzji można przepisać w to samo miejsce. Dużo cytrusów, mandarynek, pomarańczy i grejpfrutów. Solidna porcja nut iglastych, trawy i ziół.
Podsumowanie:
Kooperacyjny wytwór browaru Cloudwaters we współpracy z amerykańskim The Veil Brewing Co. Panowie wypuścili dwa eksperymentalne piwa o nazwie "Cat" i "Taco". Browary użyły takich samych składników w obu piwach, a uzyskali inne piwa. Te same drożdże, ten sam chmiel i słody.

One of several collabs between two highly acclaimed IPA specialists, each on their side of the Atlantic. The can is everything but clear regarding the name, using a picture of a taco rather than the actual word "taco" - could have been a bit less confusing, but then there is no link with actual tacos to begin with anyway, so I guess it could just as easily have been something totally else... Loose, bubbly, irregular, snow white, lacing head over a cloudy yellow blonde beer, looking milky with deposit. Lovely exotic hop bouquet of raw red onions, toasted garlic, passionfruit, stale pineapple juice, gooseberry jam, dough, sugared fruit yoghurt, raw celery, minerals and dank hoppy 'urine'. Very vividly fruity onset, exotic, hints of mango, yellow kiwi and sourish passionfruit, supple and creamy with softish carbonation as can be expected from a decent New England style IPA. Bready, bit 'sourdoughy' malt basis, very fluffy and creamy, supporting a bright, colourful retronasal hop fragrance, overripe mango, toasted garlic, stale pineapple juice piercing through the basic, bready yeastiness - and a grapefruit peel-like bitterness clinging to the root of the tongue, perhaps a bit more so even than I am used to from a NEIPA. Pungent, crisp and bright, this is a beautiful example of its style, a bit more bitter grapefruity than average, but I cannot be bothered by that - on the contrary. Lovely.

Can 440ml. @ queue for 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands.

[ As Cloudwater / The Veil Taco ].
Murky matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruit juice, grass, onion, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, minerals, fruit juice, fruity hops, peach - papaya, pine, grass, yeast - grain - minerals. A bot more messy than the Cat is think. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170922]

Rami Rami is drinking a Taco by Cloudwater Brew Co. at Chmielarnia Marszałkowska Bardziej soczkowaty i nieco mniej palaco-granulatowy od cat. Zajefajnie nachmielony na jasne owocki i grejfruta. Pijalny w cholere.
