August 2012. 22 oz. bottle. Pours dark copper color with an offwhite head. Caramel, roasted malt, spice and dark fruit aromas. nice balance with a bit of alcohol burn on the finish. Reynolds314 (3470) - Connecticut, USA - JUL 13, 2013
This beer might be too big for its britches. I like brown ales but this one comes off a bit harsh and muddled. alcohol is present and abrasive. There is a nice sweet toastyness that is great but is detracted from by heavy booze. Niko100 (2978) - Chicago, New York, USA - JUL 12, 2013
