UPDATED: MAR 2, 2015 Pretty damn fine gear here buster. Whopping hop jazz funk amidst the malty charms. A head big enough to mimic a bosom. Floral as claimed. Chewy toffee. Medium power bite. Norman this is a contender. eljebi (98) - oviedo, SPAIN - MAR 22, 2016
bottle courtesy of gen0sis, thank you! pours a crisp dark amber to light brown with a medium off white head. aroma has a ton of very nice hops, the hop profile is great throughout this brew. some light caramel, doughy and cinniamon roll notes balance the already balanced hop bill. the taste is too match, with a bit more maltiness present throughout, especially in the front. there are sweet syrupy notes in the back, and the hops are very pleasent. the aftertaste is a nice balance of light, sweet caramel maltiness and moderately bitter hop oils. the palate is great, fuller than expected, nice creamyness, oils and dryness, and goes down very very smooth. great stuff, hope to see this around more. sickboy79 (66) - USA - JUN 10, 2011
I really like this beer. I’m not a huge brown ale guy but, I do enjoy them. This one is special because it’s essentially and IBA - India Brown Ale. All the best qualities of a brown ale, and the hoppiness of a great IPA. Bottle. Aroma has lots of chocolate and coffee notes. Taste is the same but, with a big old taste of citrus hops. Just a wonderful mix of the two. Nice hoppy finish with a taste of chocolate on your tongue making you wanting more. I’ve had the style before but, this is a standout. I’d get it again in a minute! skibumma70 (30) - USA - SEP 27, 2011
Poured from a 22 to a pint glass, it pours a deep brown with thick tan creamy head. Aroma is nutty and sweet, with a roasty nutty chocolate flavor. Not generally a fan of brown ales, this is very creamy, smooth and an easy drink. Taste is smoky, somewhat burnt nutty, malty flavor that is very smooth. One of the better brown ales I have tried to date.

Bottle from Vino’s. Pours a beautiful brown colour which shines an amber red colour in the light. Thick yellowish, light tan head and a hoppy pine aroma balanced very nicely with coffee, chocolate and roasty malt. Hops are quite upfront again flavour-wise with pine, pineapple and grapefruit leading into roast espresso coffee. Quite bitter with lingering alcohol, roasty malt and coffee again. Very tasty! swholub (20) - - SEP 15, 2013
Drank out of 22oz bomber. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. The nose has aromas of brown malt, toffee, nuts, chocolate. Mild toffee sweetness with a burst of roastiness and nuttiness from the malts. The body is light to medium with strong carbonation. The hops and malt roastiness are extremely well balanced. I pick up on some nice hop aroma on the backbone of is beer as well. Overall, a great beer with just the right amount of complexity. BiggOnion (68) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - SEP 19, 2013
Deep brown color, and a thin head that stays around a while. Hoppy for a brown ale, but not overly so. stephenco (49) - Makati, PHILIPPINES - JAN 11, 2016
1 pint 6 fl oz (650ml) bottle from HK Brewcraft. My first double brown ale. Pours clear medium brown with thick brown head. Very hoppy with high ABV, but well balanced. pluginbaby78 (16) - ITALY - JAN 15, 2016
Buonissima interpretazione americana di brown Ale. Molto luppolata e abbastanza ruffiana. Non stanca mai.
