It’s black with a tan etched surface. Smells of cocoa, cinnamon, graham, some vanilla. Flavor is chocolate with a bit of vanilla, tobacco, leather some breads. It’s really a failure for its ad, but good as a stout. Medium on full bodied and a dry finish. Decent beer, but not what was adverts.
Post workout beer in Alamogordo that I picked up from Specs in El Paso. Lightly cool because the fridge is less than cold. Pours a dark brown with a foamy, rich, brown head. Aroma is sweet malt, milk chocolate and a hint of spice in the finish. Great flavor that starts with sweet chocolate and vanilla like ice cream and has a touch of lingering spice. Enjoyable. benpickens (504) - Camarillo, California, USA - MAY 29, 2017
Pours inky black with roasting and dark chocolate on the nose; nice long oily finish with bitter dark chocolate edge. phillipshome (1) - - MAY 12, 2017 does not count
Very tasty. Likes the notes of vanilla. Good flavor of coffee and chocolate.

Finally a Stout, and Imperial at that... 9% alcohol isn’t bad! Great all around. Brandon1989 (655) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Pours a very dark brown, almost black with a nice creamy two finger tan head. The aroma is chocolate, cinnamon, lactose, and some vegetable notes but not spicy in any way however. The flavor is also similar to the aroma. The chocolate is there, so is the cinnamon, medium roasted barley malts, brown bread, very mild pepper flavor. The mouthfeel is medium and the abv is hidden.

Bottle. Dark brown color, dark brown foam. Pleasant aroma: chocolate, brandy, pepper, caramel, spicy, cinnamon, vanilla. Taste: sweet chocolate, vanilla, a little cinnamon and spices, coffee, a little chili, bourbon. Poobah (428) - New Orleans, Louisiana, USA - APR 1, 2017
Black with a creme brulee head, and a dark chocolate, espresso nose. Smooth, malty, and syrupy mouthfeel with a dry, roasty, espresso, dark chocolate, dark cherry finish. Some alcohol warming. Cajun (532) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - MAR 31, 2017
Bottle - Pours straight up black, tan creamy head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, chocolate, hints of coffee and Coke. Flavors of a bakers chocolate pie - with buttery crust, creamy mouth-feel, dark malts, bitter hops, and a delicious vanilla center. Surprisingly good. ehaak26 (478) - - MAR 25, 2017

Bottle split two ways. Black pour with a light tan head. Notes of dark malts, more malty sweet, light spice, some chocolate and light roasty. A tad plain...
