Bottled: unk It’s black with a tan etched surface. Smells of cocoa, cinnamon, graham, some vanilla. Flavor is chocolate with a bit of vanilla, tobacco, leather some breads. It’s really a failure for its ad, but good as a stout. Medium on full bodied and a dry finish. Decent beer, but not what was adverts.

Backlong entry. This beer is close to style with typical flavors. Well rounded and clean. Nothing too outstanding or unusual.

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2017 Cola colored, and almost headless. Aroma is a bit sweet, with cherry cola notes, and taste is a little chocolate, with a slight aftertaste of orange. $4/12 oz

tapefuzz (765) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 6, 2017
12oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is ancho chills, chocolate fudge, vanilla, some roast, and some cinnamon. Taste is chocolate, ancho chills, light roast, some cinnamon, and a bit of vanilla. Grainy, lightly roasty finish. Medium body. Not-quite-medium carbonation. Sticky-creamy mouthfeel. The chills don't bring any spice and work a little awkwardly in the taste, but are great on the nose.

nearbeer (5563) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 2, 2017
12 oz. bottled 07/03/2017. Purt near inky black with a thin creamy disc of foam. Nose is vanilla, milk chocolate and toasted nut. Flavor is Milk Dud chocolate malted candy, vanilla and toasted almond. Finish has some caramel apple, dried grass and whole grain bread. Never really got any caspaicin from the ancho and thankfully the cinnamon was used sparingly. Finishes a tad sticky even with medium high fizz, but overall walks a delicate, drinkable balance for a big dessert beer.

Kleg (383) - The Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 15, 2017
Pours pitch black with dark mahogany highlights and a tan head with excellent retention. Looks like a nitro. Decent lacing. Very dark roasted malt and bitter dark chocolate flavors with a boozy finish. The 9.0 ABV is an interruption to the flavor. Wish it was slightly sweeter.

bigtaster (1017) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 4, 2017
From bottle into wine glass. Black with brown head, chocolate aromas, peppers, spice, barley. Thick body, medium carbonation, slightly bitter. Nice beer.

4.1
lello4ever (1168) - ITALY - JUN 30, 2017
Si presenta quasi nera con bella schiuma marrone ampia e compatta. Aroma bello di caramello cioccolato e nota alcolica. Splendida bevuta con decisa nota alcolica e al palato cioccolato, nocciola, liquirizia appena, cannella e vaniglia, dark fruits. Buon corpo e carbonazione bassa.
