Clementine is beer conceived in a dream, in the middle of a blistering beatdown of a day. We used Clementine, sweet orange peel, coriander, and summit hops to smack that mean day upside the head with a refreshing clown shoe.

330ml bottle from Firefly Cambie tasted at Sasquatch Provincial Park. Aroma is spices, citruses, tropical fruits. Same taste. Very tasty beer, probably the best Witbier I’ve ever tried. Excellent.

Wonderful aromas of tropical fruits and a little sour. Really good mix of yeast, tropical fruit and citrus. Not so hard bitter but delicious filling out the upper part of the mouth to a weak moment. Good beer but when it starts to get warmer lose the flavor and become watery. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Slight hazy pour with a bit of white head. Citrus aroma and flavor. A bit of sweetness, but not super strong. Nice body. Easy drinker. Tastes fairly tangerine like.

GoufCustom (2005) - HONG KONG - JUL 25, 2016

355 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.

Looks: Clear golden orange colour with a thick layer of dirt-like yeast sediments; One finger head with cumpety white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with active small carbonation.

Aroma: Very Fragrant and quite sweet malt, with moderate wheatyness, strong orange, tangerine, orange peels and zests, vanilla, coriander, sugar, pepper, bread and strong Bel-like yeast.

Taste: Close to medium sweet light malt, with light wheaty tartness, strong orange, strong orange peels, carbo, light molasses, dough, strong yeast, lemon, medium bitter hops and light grass.

Body: Medium body. Creamy palate.

Mouth Feel: Good light maltyness in a very smooth and creamy background with rather low-key wheatyness. Strong orange and peels dominate. Sweetness is moderate. Not spicey, but very doughty and yeasty with moderate lemon to round. Joyful!

Hoppiness: Peppery in nose. Light lemon and light grass in taste; Bitterness is moderate for an abrupt, light to mid astringent sweet peely finish.

After Taste: Fairly dry. Fruity and fairly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has creamy body, a strong dose of orange and nice orange peels in both aroma and taste, and a notable hop bitterness. Some more spicy characters will do a lot of good, but otherwise this is a pretty impressive Witbier already. Nice one!

Clear, pale, thin white head. Powdery, pleasant orange zest aroma. Tart, yeasty a little mineral/briney. Not sweet, tangerine notes, pretty crisp. Good summer fare. On tap, Just Tap’d, Macon.

330ml bottle into weizen glass. Pours with an ENORMOUS head, I mean 15 centimetres in a 20 centimetre glass! Eventually calms down to reveal a cloudy orange beer with barely visible carbonation. Nose is creamy, malty, orange and sherbet. Full-bodied and creamy texture. Subtle and subdued flavour of (slightly) bitter orange. Really tasty refreshing beer. Super easy drinking for 6%.

Tap at aster cafe during stone arch festival. Hazy gold orange with small white head. Citrus yeast nose. Citrus, some spice, then finishes with sweet spice. Syrupy and tangerine. Not bad.

MPA (999) - Amager (form. Nørrebro&Aalborg), DENMARK - MAY 27, 2016
Bottle. Aroma of orange fruit (clementines), yeast and malt. Flavour is yeasty sweet with slight notes of banana, clementines and bread. Has an ok bitter finish but could use more and a more vigourous orange flavour.

humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - MAY 23, 2016
(sample from 65 cl bottle @ CBF) Poured into festival tasting glass at fridge temperature reveals a hazy golden body with one finger of off-white head that fades leaving thick film and some lace. Aroma has wheat notes with a bit of acidity and some citrus fruit and nutmeg. Oily texture, soft carbonatoin, medium body and a sweet finish. Flavour is sweet with citrus notes. A bit boring and probably not too hopfresh.
