This is a very tasty beer and I think this year's version is the best so far. The rye barrel aging is perfect for this beer (the Undead Party Crasher), which, while tasty, seems a little rough on the edges. The finished product really has a great flavor and soft finish. Almost jet black beer with a frothy, tan head. Strong aromas of dark coffee and licorice. Tastes of dark licorice, charred coffee, some dark chocolate, earthy notes, and finishes with a grainy booze flavor. Warming mouth feel. Nice balance of sweet and roast. Really powerful and tasty. Opaque inky black color with a thin head of light brown foam. Rich and smooth barrel aged stout that carries its weight in ABV well. Mellow rich chocolate and rye whiskey finish. A good sipper.

Toasty malt and roasted raisins dominate here. Some chocolate and molasses with a bit of piney esters. Mild semi sweet stout and brewed well. Learninbeer (700) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUL 3, 2017
The aroma is malt, some chocolate, licorice, coffee. Pours dark brown with tan head mostly diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is bitter then sweet. The body is full, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. VERY GOOD!!! DCLawyer (2954) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JUN 21, 2017
Bomber->snifter. Deep brown with barest hint of head. Molasses, toffee, booze on the nose. Chocolate malt, vanilla, booze, spice, oak, bitter roast. Tasty. gopherfan99 (2000) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 2, 2017
Tap; pours black with a tan head; aroma of chocolate, whiskey, roasted malt, and a hint of soy sauce; taste is sweet with chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, and bourbon with a hint of coffee; finish is dry with hints of rye Andrew196 (2061) - Katy, Texas, USA - NOV 2, 2016
Bottle - pours opaque black, elusive team head. Aroma is coffee, whiskey, lactose, charred wood. Mouthfeel is uncomfortably slick at times for me. Flavor is coffee, cocoa, phenols, raisin. Strange bitterness towards the end. Not terrible but I’m disappointed.
