COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Once upon a time a man walked into a bar where a friend of ours was tending the taps. He tried to order an Eagle Claw Fist, but got it wrong and asked for an Evil Crawfish. When we heard the story, after much laughter, we knew one day we’d make the beer. Finally, here it is, built off of ECF, but cleaner, meaner, less bitter, and dry-hopped with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin.

bottle. Reddish brown with one finger head. Citrusy red IPA. Solid malt backbone, slightly sweet. Nice punch hops. Not an IPA style I generally seek out, but this was well executed.

The aroma is malt, bread and caramel. Pours a clear golden brown with an off white head, mostly diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is a light sweet then bitter. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. Very good IPA.

hotstuff (5288) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 7, 2017
Rated on 12-11-2016. Bottled 02/29/16. The appearance is a medium sized fizzy beige head with a short retention, amber transparent body, fizzy, lively, fast rising carbonation, and spotty lacing. The aroma presents citrus hops, grapefruit, moderate hops, fruity, earthy, and caramel malt. The flavor is moderate bitterness, citrus hops, grapefruit, fruity, earthy, sweet, and caramel malt. This beer’s mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this is a medium bodied beer. A very good drinkable beer for the style and especially on this snowy day. It has a long lasting bitter aftertaste and this beer is not only worth trying, but it is also a beer that I would partake in again.
