Draft at Lemon Hill. Pours and orange-amber with medium, lasting white head and mild lace. Nose of grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit, caramel. Medium body. Good hop flavor. A solid beer, on of the better Clown Shoes I’ve had.
Quite sweet and resinous but with plenty of hops carefully disguised until the aftertaste kicks in. Oranges of the marmalade variety, pine and a slight kick of chilli in the back of the throat. Very tasty Gouky (33) - SPAIN - DEC 9, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2017 En lata. Color naranja y espuma bastante persistente. 473ml can. Hazy amber with a large beige head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine, orange marmalade, toffee. Taste of tropical fruits, pine, orange marmalade, toffee, sweet malt, bitter resinous finish. Medium body, smooth, fine carbonation. Braudog (6852) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - NOV 3, 2017
Can. This pours with a gigantic head atop a highly aerated bronze brew. It settles, but is well laced. The aroma is a huge malt-assault hinting at a chewy monster. Indeed, this drinks with a massive dose of caramel malt, raw sugar as the backbone. tricksta_p (5236) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2017
The hops are earthen and present but restrained. (#6819, 11/3/2017)
Can from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is piney hops with soft tropical fruits, caramel malt, grapefruit, orange, and plenty of pine resin. Flavour is sweetish with a long bitter finish. Body is above medium. Smooth and very drinkable sweetish piney classic style IIPA, tasty.

In a time when even the Imperial IPA's are venturing into a brighter and fruitier spectrum, Galactica drinks like an IPA that's gradually going out of vogue. Still, it won't go quietly and Clown Shoes makes a good hoppy beer regardless of the styling. Galactica pours amber with off-white suds. Dank aroma redolent of wet pine needles, woodsy and floral hops, and resin. Pithy flavor of grapefruit peel and bitter pine. Some caramel and toasty malt comes through. Crisp feel - not quite bracing but intense. There's no doubt that Clown Shoes can appease hopheads. simontomlinson (627) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - SEP 30, 2017
Off white creamy head stayed well on a ruby red, still still body. lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 18, 2017
Well balanced aroma - smells really smooth. Over ripe fruit, wood & orange.
Medium to full bodied, oily, minimal carbonation & cloying.
Heavy on the hops with bitter citrus, pith, sweet malt, red berries & a woody finish.
473 ml can. Enjoyed at Austin, TX. Pours an orange golden colour with a white slightly foamy head. Aroma of orange, dank hops, caramel and resin. Flavour of heavy dank bitterness, orange, strong resin, caramel and some herbal notes. Full bodied. Long lingering bitter finish. Great! truebluehes (207) - Tipton, Iowa, USA - SEP 11, 2017
Can. Cloudy orange with frothy white head. Subtle hop aroma. Smooth malt with nice hop balance. Nice dry finish. Nothing special, but nothing wrong either. Very solid IIPA.
