Opaque black color, tiny off-white head. Toasted, rye bread malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Bready, slightly toasted flavor. Hints of caramel, not much pecan found. Simple toasty porter without much substance.
65 cl bottle @ wPBF’14.laiti (8481) - Tampere, FINLAND - JAN 4, 2014
Pours clear dark copper color with a small head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some coffee notes and resinous hops. Flavor of roasted malts, some tar, caramel, mild cocoa, dry nutty notes and wood. Slightly too thin but almost perfect balance on the body. Very nice anyway.
65 cl bottle @ wPBF’14, no BBE info

Aroma has some roastiness and distant moldy tones. Flavour is nutty with roasted notes, some cocoa and bitter coffee. Good, but no big feelings here.
Aroma has pecan, vanilla, brown sugar, cream, and a little metallic funk that breathed off after a minute. Flavor has vanilla, nuts, and a little coffee, with a really creamy mouthfeel. Roast coffee bitterness in the finish. Really good. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Color- dark brown with cocoa head. In the nose you get maple syrup and brown sugar. A bit of a metallic taste, but that goes away as it warms. Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2013

Black with small head. Aroma of roasted malt. Flavor with caramel, coffee and spices. darb85 (289) - Canton, Michigan, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Smooth. Mild pecan a bit sweet with bitter finish. Bubbly thin mouth feel. Very good. Onslow (1511) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - DEC 21, 2013
Pour from a 22oz bomber. Clear, dark, brown head. Aroma of old burnt coffee with some sour notes. Taste is sweet at the start with a pleasnat nutty flavor towards the middle then ending with burn grains, though sweetness pervades all along. A little lingering sweetness at the end. Heavy with a full and rich palate that is quite fine.
